Very nice desk. My husband assembled it very quickly. The bottoms of the drawers are pretty thin. The main pieces are very sturdy.I want to shout out the company Winsome Wood. The top piece of my desk came with some cracks on the edge of it. I emailed them on a Friday with pictures and asked for a replacement part. I really didn’t want to pack the whole desk up and return it. On Monday I heard back from them that they would take care of it. They shipped it on Tuesday and I got it on Wednesday. So they have great customer service.

So disappointed. I was so excited to get this desk, and we just spent the last two hours putting it together. Turns out, the side panels for the small drawers are all four identical instead of two opposing. So you can't put the drawers together since the rails don't line up. I submitted a request for replacement pieces. Let's hope I get the right parts.

Bought this because we needed a smaller desk than the one we had for when I work from home. I thought that as soon as we move into a larger house this would be good for my 6 year old daughter. Not expensive so I would not get mad if she scuffed it up over the years. I knew it was cheap but it arrived with paint chips. I kept it and touched it up myself. However. I gave it 1star because I have had it 13 months and the first time I moved it from one wall to the adjacent one, the straight side snapped like a twig. Not sure it can be fixed.

First of all the desk looks like it had been hand painted with one sheer coat of paint (only one small panal looked decent). The wood they use for the desk parts isn't sanded down smoothly and is cracked and very grainy! Not a cute look and would not trust this to last long nor to survive being moved/transported after being put together. Other parts have scratches from poor handling (it was not from the shipping process bc the parts that were scratched were wrapped--separate from other parts).I was not able to even try to assemble the desk (not that I wanted to after seeing the condition of the wood) because there were no screws or any kind of parts to put the desk together! I have never had such a bad shopping experience.I returned the desk immediately (and the thing weighs just under 100 lbs so that was not fun getting it into my car!) complete waste of time and money. The only good thing about it is Amazons amazing return policy.DO NOT PURCHASE THIS DESK.

Got this for my daughter's room and it is great. Assembly directions were easy and clear. Very smart how it is designed. Durable and compliments the rest of her black wood furniture. I am a 63 year old woman and assembled it myself. I added a glass top so that an 11 year old cannot destroy the top with craft projects.

Very disappointed! We bought this desk for our daughter after we moved into a new home. My husband put it together and he thought it was easy enough. But the cam bolts did not hold up very well and in fact didn’t want to tighten first go round. Either way my husband put the desk together and said he would be able to secure these further at another time. Well the next day my husband and son were bringing the desk upstairs and it broke in half. my husband remodels homes for a living and he was so irritated with how poorly this desk was built and went together. He fixed what fell apart and then a day later the drawers pulled apart. So after all the work he did we should have just bought the material and he could have built a better desk. I was trying to save time and I guess you get what you pay for. Live and learn!

My wife loves the desk. Its small and just the right size for her. It weights un about 115 lbs and very difficult to move with two men once it is put together. You can not lift from the top desk board. You have to lift from the bottom sides of the desk. We lifted from the top and the top popped off the desk. It is only made out of compressed parcile board. Not very sturdy.

Overall I’m happy with my purchase. It’s a perfect little desk for small spaces. My husband wasn’t too happy with the assembly, so he rated it a two and for the price, it honestly, could be sturdier and of better quality. However, it fits just perfectly in my office, it is very cute and serves the purpose that I need it for, which is to have a place to do some quick work in the evenings, do bills etc.

Purchased 2 desks- both units have imperfections one has the front panel chipped at 2 spots and seems like it's been filled with wood filler.Instructions to assemble was ok, the drawers are cheap quality as compared with the top of the desk.The door knobs are pretty cheap one fell off and won't stay in. I am ordering new knobs as the unit is already assembled and heavy for return. It's an average desk for the price

I was missing two of the door knobs from the packaging, but thankfully I was able to source others easily enough. Otherwise it seems a decent enough desk.

It's not hardwood, it smell a lot at the beginning like chemical glue.

I will be returning this item, the screw holes for the cam locks are plastic and are not sturdy assembly as a result is an absolute nightmare
