Great for consistent energy
I take boxing/kickboxing/MMA classes six days a week, and am just starting on using a pre-workout. I had tried another pre-workout (The Curse) for a few days before this, and wasn't really satisfied with it. It gave me a huge burst of energy at the start of my workout, but ultimately left me feeling drained about only halfway through.I decided to do some research and heard the same thing about a lot of other products, like C4 and Jack3d. But Ultimately decided on MP Assault, because it has what I was looking for, based on reviews from other people on various sites. After using it for only one day I noticed a MAJOR difference in my energy level during my boxing class. It doesn't give you that huge burst like most pre workouts, nor that tingling sensation. It does however, keep me energized throughout my entire class. After using it for a week I don't find myself panting and out of breath towards the end of my workout. It keeps me going the whole way through. I'd honestly argue that if you're using on of those other products that just gives you a burst and leaves you tired out, you're better off using nothing.MP Assault on the other hand, I immediately became a fan of. It tastes pretty great too (I had the strawberry ice). Highly recommend.

Cost per Gram, Taste, & Solubility
Got a couple of the 4 lb. cookies n’cream for only $17 each around Christmas, but didn’t know that was about 50% off or I would’ve ordered way more! Mixes easily with water by just shaking in a bottle for a few seconds, easier than any other brands I’ve used. And it tastes better too. Also, their protein bars are by far the best, and I got those for $10/box of 12, but didn’t know that was on sale too, so I didn’t order more at the time, and they’re too expensive now by comparison. I’m taking 1 star off because they didn’t say anything about the sales on any of their products and I don’t want to pay twice as much for something now when I could’ve just ordered a bunch 2 weeks ago if I knew it was on sale. It feels like a huge waste of money, and anyone selling anything should know that, that’s why sales are always ADVERTISED, so people know they’re getting a Good Deal!!!

Great value for a pre-workout
Every one wants to stick the latest and greatest preworkouts (me included). I have taken preworkouts since the dawn of time (started with the original NO Xplode w/ aspartame). The problem with all these trendy preworkouts is they often contain sketchy ingredients. Also, do you think Arnold ever said - 'This preworkout doesn't contain enough Citrulline or Alpha GPC'? My point is, if you get enough sleep, recovery and have a good diet, Assault literally contains everything you need to get in to the gym and get a great workout, without blowing your CNS out. Personally I use this in the morning and it gets me in to the gym, but the rest is up to me. I have no problem with that; I don't need a preworkout that does my workout for me.Every ingredient in this preworkout serves a purpose (except the Acesulfame Potassium, please remove this).*For instance all the Vitamins in this blend (C, E, B6, B12) serve the purpose of destroying free radicals and boosting your energy).*It also contains the ONLY 2 ingredients ever proven to boost performance - Creatine and Caffeine. A lot of new trendy preworkouts claim you don't need creatine in a pre and while creatine is a cheap ingredient, this seems like a cop-out to me. Creatine also has a ton of research outside of physical benefits, including brain function.*Beta-Alanine delays fatigue, it also has antioxidant, immune-enhancing and anti-aging properties.*Betaine supports power and strength & affects muscle growth, and digestion plus liver function.*Taurine has important functions in the heart and brain, including supporting nerve growth.*Glycine helps to regulate the body's immune response, to limit unhealthful inflammation and spur healing. As a neurotransmitter, glycine both stimulates and inhibits cells in the brain and central nervous system, affecting cognition, mood, appetite and digestion, immune function, pain perception, and sleep.*Acetyl-L-carnitine boosts brain power and burns fat and builds muscle. So, for .50c/.60c per scoop can you find a better preworkout? NO! If you are willing to drop $2/scoop you can find a better preworkout, but for the price, taste, variety and quality this preworkout gets my money. So, why 4 stars? I would like to see the Ace K removed for 1, this ingredient does not belong in supplements. Also, instead of using trademarked ingredients (CreaPure, Carnosyn) MusclePharm uses the cheaper forms. While this is not a problem, per say, it would be nice to have the higher more studies products in the pre workout.

Great Flavor and Mixes well
I am relatively new to the preworkout game. I'm a college student who used to be an athlete back in high school prior to some knee surgeries. Prior to the MusclePharm Assault Strawberry Ice Preworkout, I was drinking the C4 Shred Sport in the fruit punch flavor. I can attest that this MusclePharm is much more preferable. I like to compare the taste to like a jolly rancher. It is sweet but not too much. It is perfect for my taste. I will say that it mixes really well. I didn't have any issues with it having a chalky texture like I would have when using the C4. Again this is only my second preworkout I've tried but I don't see myself getting anything else.

must have!
omg this tastes AMAZING! not chalky, super refreshing sweet taste. also, i'm a small girl about 5'4 130 lbs and I was always really afraid of preworkout, but this doesnt make me all jittery and its just enough caffine for me to get pumped for the gym without crashing terribly afterwards. helps me push more weight at the gym and helps with my recovery afterwards so much.
