One of the best water additives out there
I have a 55 gallon with some questionable stocking.... see, about 7ish years ago, my mother bought me a mysterious fish that I would later identify as a tiger loach. I freaking love the dude. I really need 5 more of them so he can live out the rest of his days with his own kind and be happy, but I have never seen another of his specific kind (Syncrossus Helodes) ... Because of this, he's kind of a cranky guy (I don't blame him, i know it's my fault, I'm a monster, but dammit I've been trying to find him buddies ever since I was finally able to identify what kind of loach he is, which took me YEARS, so cut me some slack por favor) ANYWAYS sometimes when he's feeling particularly jerky he'll hunt my guppies... not relentlessly or anything (they're not living in fear), just a chomp on the tail to those who dare swim too close to his cavern (he does it to my giant 9ish year old pleco as well, to no effect, but i also catch those 2 sleeping together with the loach layed out all awkwardly on his side on top of the pleco...). This results in the *occasional* chunk of guppy tail fin missing... this stuff helps the healing process so much. I'll see improvement same day and new growth the next day. When I dose my tanks with this, the guppies will rush over to the bluish cloud, shimmying directly through it. If they could, I'm sure they would cheer. They love how it makes their slime coat extra slimey and coating (I assume, based on my interpretation of the sign language we've developed together over time)

Great when adding new fish
I generally only use this when I'm introducing new fish, but it does work to help them acclimate without the risk of high stress causing them distress.

Worth it.
I have tetras, plecos and snails and no issues when using this. I do believe it helped promote healing after I had a little fin rot run its course. I use this after water changes (stress) or when I need some extra juice to amp up healing. It’s affordable and very easy to follow the directions.

this saved my fish’s lives
first of all, I do not usually leave reviews.. but I just wanted to put this out here in case anyone else finds himself in a similar situation and aren’t sure what to do. I have very large South American cichlids in an outdoor pond and naturally sometimes they fight. Anytime I see anyone with any injuries I always dose the pond with this bc it’s safe for the other fish and the plants in there. It’s essentially harmless to use and can pretty much only help. I’ve used this probably dozen times for small injuries and never had any problems. This particular time was a true test of its efficacy. Two of my adult cichlids had the worst wounds I’ve seen in any of my tanks. A blood parrot was missing like a third of their jaw/face from locking jaws with someone and getting their face bitten, and a different fish had what looked like a stab mark (??) that was like almost a full inch long with some weird opaque white stuff coming out of it 😭 These 2 fish don’t bother each other at all so it may have been a coincidence idk but it was such a nightmare and I did not think either of them would come back from their wounds. I considered euthanizing them, but honestly, I didn’t have any way to actually euthanize fish that size.. so I ordered a couple bottles of this overnight and prayed for the best. It says it’s safe to double the dose so I did and within three days, the fishes face grew back almost perfectly and the other fish with the stab wound already had a visible closed scar. I was so impressed (and thrilled!!) It says it has colloids that bind to exposed proteins in wounds, and after my personal experience and consulting some experts online, I truly believe this product does what it says, and is worth every penny.

Good product, bad delivery
My oscar fish got pretty beat up by another tankmate (which I got rid of after this). I did a couple salt dips after noticing a white outline on the edge of its fins. Its an albino so I couldn't tell if it was due to regrowth or infection. Either way the salt couldn't hurt. But the majority of the recovery was just using this. Seems to have worked well, some slow regrowth going now. He should make a full recovery. The bottle did arrive broken and it did spill inside the box. The lid snapped off. I don't think that was necessarily the companies fault as much as it was Amazon's. It took like half an hour going through menus just to get assistance. Absolutely ridiculous. But other than that it seems to have worked. Will continue dosing until it grows it back entirely. You can see the difference from the first day to now. First picture was on monday and the second was saturday. Not bad considering. It looks like it will be awhile before hes full go though. You can see his fins and tail were more frayed initially, but now they seem to be coming more together. I am doing frequent water changes now, to help it heal faster. I just redose for the amount I take out. I had a bottle of paraguard on standby seeing as I just started this tank, but I really should've have the stressguard instead. Will likely keep a bottle of this on hand now as well.

Good but STAINS
This product worked well for my male betta. I'd been trying to help him with fin nipping and I didn't know what to do. Someone in a betta group recommended I try this and I am SO GLAD I did. It worked wonders! His fins are healing nicely. I haven't seen evidence of fin nipping for awhile now. I used it daily for a week and a half. I now use it for other my other bettas if needed. However, this STAINS things easily. The top of my washing machine is stained from it. So if you use it make sure you do it over the sink and place a cover down to put the bottle down. It leaked down the bottle and stained it. Overall, I love this product so far. The staining is unfortunate though. He's slowly healing. Using it for another nipper and so far it seems to be helping for him too. I'd give it a 5 star if I didn't stain super easy.

Had a Betta fish with fin rot. I made sure to change his water 1 gallon in the morning, 1 gallon at night in ( 3 gallon quarantine tank with heater a bubbler bare bottom to clean out poop with turkey baster everyday) adding 1 ml of stressguard in his water every 24 hours. 1/2 teaspoon AQUARIUM salts DILUTED in each new gallon of water added. treating water with PRIME ( 2 drops per new gallon each plus 2 drop every 24 hours for the gallon that stayed in the quarantine tank) The results were almost immediate! He stopped shedding, splitting his fins, getting his color back. 4 weeks later all healed. Lovin it!
