Perfect for bird seed
The opening is just the right size for filling tubular bird feeders. It’s big enough for a few refills without being too big to hold easily in 1 hand.

It works OK, but I think there are easier ways to store rice.
The product does what it should, but I have found some basic containers that would do the basic job I need. I have not used the measuring cup. I have a "standard mug" for measuring stuff, that I have been using for years. With some rice cooking, you add a measured amount of water to a measured amount of rice, and cook till all the water is absorbed. Even if this is only done by eye, you some simple container to measure the rice and the water on the same scale, as it were.
