I think that this drink tastes like a honey throat sweet but without the menthol. I can taste the bite of the ginger, which is quite nice and makes the drink more interesting. It goes down easily as it feel kind of oily, but I think that is just the consistency of the honey, it's not actually oily as it contains 0 calories from fat. I can't taste the turmeric.I like turmeric for pain-relief, ginger to settle my stomach and honey to sooth my mouth and throat, so this is full of good stuff for me. This is also an immunity booster, as well as anti-inflammatory, so I can't fault the ingredients, as long as you don't have any allergies, my husband can't tolerate honey, so he can't have this. More for me. I think I would particularly like this when I have a cold.My only issue with these shots is the price, I think £24 (at the time of writing) is a lot for 15 small shots. It's not something that would quench your thirst, so you really are only taking it for its medicinal properties. It was manufactured in January this years and is best before January next year, plenty of time to drink 15 bottles, even if you don't take them every day.

Oh dear. I can only start this review by expressing my disappointment with this product. I had high expectations for these Turmeric, Honey and Ginger shots having purchased and drink similar juice shots in the past from other retailers and suppliers. I am sorry to say that these are without a shadow of a doubt, the worst ones I have ever had the misfortune to try. I can only liken the consistency to that of slime or snot. Having never tried either of the aforementioned, I can only imagine if I were to lick the bottom of a snail then this is what it would taste like. Unless I happen to have an issue with my batch something definitely needs to be addressed here. The resulting slime like consistency aside this product really doesn’t fair any better for flavour. I can taste honey but the ginger seems to be almost entirely missing? I could go on but I really can’t be bothered. Save your money on this atrocious product and look elsewhere. Utterly disgusting.

A big part of being healthy it having healthy habits. Ensuring you're getting the right things in your body have obvious physical effects but also starting the day right have psychological effects.When I open the fridge in the morning to grab the milk for my brew, I see these intriguing test tubes looking back at me and it's a trigger. I have one of these and my vitamins/supplements and it gives me a positive start and outlook on the day.I think its very fashionable to have these kind of ginger shots with other additions and perhaps it's not clinically proven to help that much but for me it's just getting in that mindset.I am coming to the end of this box and I'll be sad when it's gone. For the current price of more than £1 per shot I would likely not buy them again but if they brought it down to around 70p-80p I'd be inclined.In terms of look and feel, it seems to be a professional product. In terms of taste and flavour, I was very surprised. Given turmeric and ginger can be very raw and jarring flavours, these guys have done great to make it palatable.You get a very mild raw taste at the back of your throat but it soon makes way for a sweet refreshing honey taste.Overall a very positive experience but perhaps at a price point I can't follow up with

I’ve been considering a turmeric supplement for a while, so jumped at the chance to try these turmeric, honey and ginger shots. It is a pack of 15, they come well boxed in a sturdy cardboard box. The containers are plastic and do have a ‘sample bottle’ feel about them though.The product itself feels quite ‘thick’ in the mouth, the initial taste impression is honey, followed by the ginger kick. I didn’t find the taste of turmeric to be very strong. They are only 40ml, so literally a mouthful and they’re gone – so definitely not a ‘drink’ as such, just a liquid supplement. I think you’d need to take them consistently for a while to actually see anti-inflammatory effects, certainly nothing instant.At £24 for 15 I think they are expensive.

I think the ratio of spice and herb here is very well balanced .exactly what my body needs. I feel these shots will help me to boost my immunity.They taste great with a fresh and warm aftertaste making these shots much more palatable than comparable products available on the market. Great tasting shot with a nice ginger kick! Used after a big training session and turmeric definitely helps with anti-inflammatory issues and recovery.You can certainly tell that a lot of thought and consideration has gone into this product resulting in an amazing and most importantly a convenient tasty shot.

Sorry but didn't ease pain, tastes awful and very expensive

These Akiva Love Turmeric Honey Ginger Juice Shots actually tasted a lot better than I thought they would. There’s more honey than ginger to them but it’s certainly not unpleasant.The effects are less easy to write about as I didn’t notice any real difference in the short time I’ve used them. Maybe after 6 or 7 packs they might be more effective, I don’t know.

Very disappointed in the taste and size. When I read the ingredients, I figured out why. So much stuff that goes beyond what I purchased. Why add cane sugar? The taste is not good and the amount is so small you can barely taste it.

Good but cost is higher quantity is less

The health and nutritional benefits of this product are amazing. I had this drink and due to it being in the form of a single shot it felt great. I recommend that other people also try this product.
