They grind the salt and pepper as you require it. The little LED lights up the output so you can see how much is coming out.

Nice salt and pepper grinders, easy to adjust and use. Added advantage is the rechargeable batteries and good capacity holder for course salt and pepper corns.

These grinders are really well made. They are quite large but well balanced, sturdy and they look good on the table. They come with a wire carrying basket that holds them well. They also grind salt and pepper very efficiently.Now the one slight negative. In order for the grinder to work you need to press the black button, then turn it upside down over your dinner. It works well. The thing is that the only way to tell if it is turned on is to hold it upside down. If it dispenses salt it's on, if it doesn't it off! Would it have been beyond the wit of the designers to put a small light next to the button? Like the one that comes on while it's charging. While on the subject of lights, there is also a bulb next to the grinding head that lights up as it grinds. This, I assume, is for when you're eating your dinner in total darkness! I'd swap it for an on/off light.Having said all that these salt and pepper machines work very well and we are well pleased with them.

I like these a lot, but the salt seems to soak up moisture very easily & starts clumping in the glass container & around the grinder part itself.You’re supposed to be able to adjust the grind level, but no matter how I set it, salt comes out like powder, which is slightly annoying.To help avoid the clumping, I’ve placed a couple of silica packets in the very bottom of the container.

Charged these when they arrived and haven't needed to recharge then as of yet (about 2 months so far).... I like the light on them so you can see where and how much seasoning you're adding to your dish and I like how it auto stops when you've turned it back the other way. I don't really use the power button, I just leave them on and turn them over when I want to use them. Fab product, better than the manual twisty ones which were annoying me getting clogged up and taking ages to let any seasoning out.

Loving these.The resting position keeps the contents dry and avoids blockages.Great variation on grain size of grind which is fab for pepper and coarse salt variations.Charged really quickly and lasts for weeks of usage.Being disabled these are pure bliss.Chunky enough to hold easily without being too bulky. Not too heavy but feel really robust.One thing I came across in the heatwave was that they ARE affected by humidity over 65% but that is so rare (I hope....)In any event, they have a power off override button anyway so it is easy to use when you put them away after meals/cooking.Gravity grinders may seem like a gimmick but they really are great for holding and using without causing joint pains.LOVE theseHIGHLY recommend
