Infuses tea effectively, but there are a few inevitable tea leaves that escape into the water - but this happens with most tea infusers anyway. Product is very easy to clean, and a cheerful novelty. Makes a cup of tea that bit more interesting! I love the design and bright colour. Would recommend this 'Yellow Submarine' to Beatles fans and tea lovers alike :-) Nice product, just wish it was a tad cheaper.

Excellent buy for the super Mario fans out there. works perfectly for tea mug lovers. Portioning a bit big for tea cups.. looks great dipped into a transparent mug as it diffuses. Colour stays on after months of use, easy to rinse off after - no tea leaves stuck inside when rinsing off.

It’s a great novelty item but it does let a lot of the loose leaves out into the cup so not great for anyone who wants a clear infusion. Love how it looks poking out of the cup though.

I used my Baby Nessie immediately and he's precious and perfect. He does let some of the finer ground tea leaves through but I'll overlook it because we're friends now and friends forgive each other. Look at him doing his little job!

So fun, and easy to use. Sometimes you just don't have space for an in-cup caddy type strainer or tea pot with strainer (I have both) and want something you can easily use or take out with you - this is it!

Hubby loves it. It's a bit fiddly until you get used to adding the tea in and putting it back together again.

I am absolutely delighted with this product. The size is perfect for steeping a cup or two of tea. The bottom of the umbrella is hooked so you can hang it on the tea cup instead of having it float around. At first I was unsure of the material, I thought it would be too flexible and bend at the most inopportune time and my tea would end up on the bottom of the cup BUT it is stable and holds together but is flexible enough to work with you when you are cleaning it for next use. The only difference I have found between this material and my metal ones that I slightly dislike is that although the material will dry when out of the cup even if I disassemble the umbrella and expose the tea to air to dry it out the tea stays moist and therefore you have to clean the steeper with wet leaves which is a little annoying rather than turning it upside down and letting the dried leaves fall and then washing it. But it works so well as a steeper, the price is AWESOME and it is super cute!
