Fragrance free, not hypoallergenic, use sparingly
Nonscents Clean & Simple Daily Shampoo really is fragrance free. It isn't odorless. The ingredients have a noticeable scent, especially it you sniff it in the bottle or splash it up your nose. But the scent is mild. I didn't notice it while using it, and it didn't linger in the air. This shampoo is also strong. The instructions on the bottle say to "Massage on wet hair and rinse. Follow with Nonscents Condition & Shine daily conditioner." Note that they don't say to repeat. Unlike every other shampoo I've used, I didn't need to repeat. And as with Brylcreem, "a little dab'll do you." Bryllcreem defines "dab" as an amount about the size of a dime. The shampoo's strength more than compensates for the high price per bottle. However, even in small doses, it's so strong that it dries out my hair, so the conditioner is not optional.Nonscents shampoo isn't advertised as hypoallergenic for a good reason. It's not hypoallergenic. The label says it contains hydrolized wheat protein. Some people are allergic to wheat. It also contains methylchloroisothiazolinone (MCI) and methylisothiazolinone (MI). MCI/MI is a standard preservative used in many shampoos. In high concentrations, MCI/MI can be a skin irritant. The concentration in cosmetics and rinse-off products is legally restricted in the US, Canada, and Europe. The concentration of MCI/MI in Nonscents shampoo is under the threshold for rinse-off products, but people with skin allergies may find it irritating. It could also be irritating if, ignoring the instructions, you apply generously, repeat, and sprint off without rinsing thoroughly. In short, when used according to the directions, it's by far the best fragrance free shampoo I've found, but people who are allergic to wheat or have skin allergies should look for a hypoallergenic shampoo, instead.

I’m noticing good results
I was searching for non fragrance conditioner/shampoo on Amazon and I came across this one. After a few weeks my hair is super soft and just over all looks better. I have curly hair so I strictly used curly hair products but this one really is for all hair types. I just finished the bottle and just ordered a new one. I wish they had bigger size options for the conditioner. The first one was the new formula and the second is the original. I’m not too worried about the difference altho imo the original actually feels thicker than the new one

Fragrance Free But Dry As The Desert
No one is more picky and demanding than I when it comes to fragrance free products whether it be shampoo, bar soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener or dishwasher detergent. The only shampoo I could tolerate over the last 15 years was Suave Humectant Moisture Shampoo and that was just discontinued. It wasn't fragrance free per se but it was the only product on the market that didn't cause me immediate distress and considerable discomfort. That was until I found this product. This expensive product is a godsend in terms of being fragrance free .... straight up .... major, major kudos on that front! Zero issues with runny nose, headaches or any other allergic reaction! However, after one use, it struck me that it dried my hair EXACTLY like washing my hair with a bar of soap like say Dial Gold bar soap. After one use, I'm certain that I will need to start using a conditioner on a daily basis whereas before I really didn't need it ever, maybe once a month. So this revelation opens an entirely new can of worms ie finding a conditioner I can use daily that doesn't wreak havoc on my allergies.I guess I will try the conditioner made by this same company but I'm guessing it will be extremely expensive too.I'll let y'all know how that goes in a week or two.

Best hair products for MCS sufferers!
These products literally saved my life! I started suffering from extreme chemical/ fragrance sensitivity (MCS) about a year ago. At first it wasn't that bad I would take a break from being around too many chemicals and after a few days go back to normal not being affected too much by Fragrances or chemicals. I could put multiole hair products in my hair and use cleaning products no problem. In the past few months my MCS got so bad I couldn't even tolerate a very light almost non-existent fragrance or any chemical smells whatsoever. Everything I use on myself or cleaning, etc has to be 100% fragrance free and not have a overwhelming chemical smell or i get a severe headache, brain fog, nerve twitching. I bought these Non Scents hair products...shampoo, conditioner and texturixing cream after reading other reviews and I am so glad I did! I don't get the headache and brain fog, etc I used to get with my other products! My hair is pretty long and I color it red which the shampoo/ cond hasn't stripped and my hair feels soft after using which was a huge concern I had as my hair can get very brittle from coloring. Thank you Non Scents for making these products for people like me and please don't ever discontinue or change the formulation!

Made my hair fall out!
I used the conditioner, and it made my hair fall out! My scalp felt fine, and it made my hair a nice texture, but after a few uses, I started noticing so much of my hair everywhere. On my pillow case, clothes, the floor... every time I ran my fingers through it a bunch of strands came out. My hair is now visibly thinner! I haven't tried the shampoo, but I don't recommend the conditioner.

Good for oily people
This product line is too drying for my head and hair. It is good if you are oily or use a lot of products that need to be stripped out of hair. Also I have found other unscented brands that you get a lot more for the money
