Great Quality, Well Engineered, Highly Recommend
I wanted to elevate my printer so I could store paper underneath. This item met my needs perfectly.1) QualityAll of the pieces fit together perfectly. It is well designed and seems very durable. The wood is engineered, I believe, but it is not cheap MDF. It comes with 3M adhesive pads to place on the bottom of the unit to protect the surface of the furniture below. The screws are secured with "three-in-one cake" fasteners (see parts picture).2) AppearanceAll of the sides are finished. I find that many products like this, especially around this price, are finished only on the sides that are exposed. I like that this is finished on all sides, including the bottom.3) FunctionalityThe instructions state that the unit can hold up to 33 pounds (15kg). My printer weighs much less than that. Because of the center support and the higher quality engineered wood, I am not worried that it will sag in the middle overtime. Standard 8.5" x 11" paper fits perfectly into the upper shelves.4) Ease of AssemblyI found this easy to assemble. The illustrated instructions were clear. Assembly was easy in part because there are a limited number of *types* of parts. (You can't use the wrong size screw, for example). The one thing I would say is use your own Phillips screwdriver for assembly. A tool is included to tighten the screws, but I found it frustrating to use.

Great quality - easy to assembly !!!
I was very hesitant to order this printer stand - as I am recently widowed and have never had to assemble anything before this !!! (My husband was extremely handy and always took care of these kinds of things.) I was very surprised that I was able to build this on my own with the picture directions that came in the box. (There were no written directions.) I carefully followed the steps one by one and had no problem getting this thing put together. (Believe me ... If I can do it - anyone can do it !!!)The result is a sturdy, quality piece that I have on top of my computer table. Just as the picture shows - it can hold 8-1/2 x 11 paper, my stapler, and even my small electronic postage scale. My HP LaserJet fits perfectly as well. Also wanted to mention that the stand was packaged in a heavy duty carton with layers of styrofoam all around the edges of the inside carton - as well as layers inside the carton to separate the pieces from scratching/rubbing on each other. Every piece was in excellent condition - no damage whatsoever. All of the pieces needed for assembly were included ... nothing was missing. A screwdriver type tool was even provided in the package of screws/cams/etc. - however I needed better leverage and used my own screwdriver for easier assembly. (By the way - the black laminate finish was of a much higher quality than expected.)If space limitations require you to keep your printer on your desktop - this is a fairly inexpensive way to pick up some excellent extra storage. Only way I'd be happier is if it was free. :)

Large, sturdy, easy to assemble. Recommend!
When this was delivered, I was surprised at how heavy the box was. I am assuming the shelf is made from laminated pressed board, but I don't know for sure. Whatever it is, it is a really solid product! The contents were packaged very well w/ paper between each board and lots of protection all around it. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble and was very easy to do. It comes with an allen wrench/hex key that has a screw tip on one end, so you don't actually need to own a philips head screwdriver as they provide it.Of all the items needed to assemble it, there was 1 leftover wooden peg, and about 4 leftover plastic covers (they cover the silver locking fittings). I didn't actually use all of the plastic covers b/c they are really fiddly to put on and it's hard to do when trying to reach 14 inches into the shelves. Since no one can see the locking fittings in the back of the shelves, I just left them uncovered and saved myself the frustration/time.Once assembled, this is a very sturdy product and I love how much storage space I have now in my home office. I wish I had bought this many months ago.Note- It's rather wide (19 inches) so be sure to measure your space before purchase to be sure you can accommodate it. I have mine sitting on a filing cabinet and it overhangs a couple of inches on either side.

Sturdy and great storage.
Surprised at the sturdiness of this unit. Very strong and great storage space for up to 4 reams paper in the to single units. The double wide open unit has an amazing amount of room for extra office supplies from stapler to sticky notes. Very EZ to put together as well, great addition to my home office.

Very nice but one piece broke during assembly
This is a nice unit that will fit paper in the bottom storage areas (I slid some in to see if it fit and it was fine). The unit was mostly easy to assemble except that I had one screw holder break when building it. The plastic caps can take some time to line before pressing them into the screw holders). However, it appears sturdy enough that I don't plan to ask for a replacement (I really only need one screw retainer). It was also nice that the back panel can be installed or left out. I left it out with mine so that I can run charging wires in through the back to set my tablets inside the unit and have the wires exit the rear. Beyond the one broken assembly screw holder, it seems fine and sturdy. It was packaged well and arrived quickly without paying extra for express shipping. I have attached an image of it with my Canon MX922 printer sitting on top, which it holds perfectly. Added some needed storage space and looks good.

The perfect turntable stand!
It was easy to put together. I used it in an unconventional way. It made the perfect turntable stand! It is still strong enough to support the record player without the center support. I definitely recommend it for this purpose!

Very good for what it is, though a bit more expensive than it should be
Just got mine today. IT's holding up my older Samsung printer well. I assembled it with the two smaller alcoves over the larger one since that will supposedly accept more weight on the top.I assumed I was going to use one alcove for letter length printer paper and then use the bottom section, rather inefficiently, for legal length paper. To my surprise, the legal length fits just fine into the smaller alcoves and there's enough room in the back that it's not sticking out and hanging over the front. So, that's a happy thing I hadn't anticipated. It's leaving me quit a good bit more room on the bottom to do more with. The construction was pretty easy to do. If you've ever assembled stuff from Ikea then there's no surprises here. I do recommend using a phillips head screwdriver that you own, because the one that comes with the box is at the end of an allan key, and frankly, it's on the wrong side of it. It's not the easiest thing to make use of, especially given you have to assemble it then reach inside to get things done.I was somewhat dissapointed with the tightening screws. Again, to draw the comparison to Ikea, it's the round things that sit in a hole and you turn them so they tighten a grip on a screw end that slides into the cavity where the round tightening screw is. While it does tighten, the damn things stick out. With Ikea furniture it's generally flush with the product wall, specifically so you don't have something sticking out that will catch. You do get these black caps that can be inserted into the round tightening screws in order to put a smooth surface over them so nothing catches, but this is a lot more useful when it's flush with the side wall. All they do is not let things catch on the tightening screw, but things will get caught on these bits for sure given that they stick out and have a raised edge. It's a really silly design flaw to have in what could otherwise have been pretty well perfectly designed for what it is. Either the holes are too shallow or the tightening screws are too wide, but either way it's too easy a thing to fix for it to be overly forgivable. That said, I didn't mark it down too much since I don't foresee it really interfering with my use of the product (worst case scenario the black cover pieces will come off, which is not really something I care much about. It has a function to serve. Don't need it to be pretty upon close inspection). The rubber feet the product comes with are pretty good, and of a decently enough large size, which is nice as I trust it will distribute the weight fairly evenly. It didn't take long to assemble and I put it to use right away.My only real complaints are the stupid round grommet tightening screws and the fact that it feels a bit more expensive than it should be (though the quality of the materials overall is pretty good and seems rather sturdy). I'm just amazed how much pre-cut particle board and a few screws costs...
