These Heat Pads are a game changer
These Heat Pads are game changers. I converted an old, old multi section roasting pan into a to great Hot Dog Warming container ever. We went to a Kentucky Derby party and I told everyone I sought bring Ruth’s Hutt deep fried hot dogs.Now all I had to do was figure out how to fry them at home and keep the warm for several hours. So I got these heating pads from Amazon, made a double boiler out of disposable aluminum pans, put that in the roasting pan. Filled the top section of the double boiler with we towels, that I microwaved , put a rack on top of that. Fried the hot dogs, put them on buns, wrapped them in food wrapping sheet, which were also from Amazon, covered it and off to the party we went. They were the hit of the party and they stayed warm like that for over 2 hours. PS; the roasting pan I used was a wedding present my Mom and Dad received in 1937, glad I saved it all these years and now it has a whole new life.

Limited heat source
I used these warmers at Thanksgiving instead of sterno heating. They do keep food warm, but only for a short period of time. Very simple to set up and use.

Worthless
This was worthless. I followed the directions but the warming pad never got hot. The temp of the pad never got above 100 degrees, let alone to a level that would keep the food "hot". I was taking a meal to a chemo patient and was counting on delivering hot food. Not the case. I think the hand warmers I use for skiing would have done a better job. So disappointing. And not inexpensive!

Emits a toxic smell
These work great to keep good warm, HOWEVER, the smell they emit is overwhelming. It smells toxic and anyone smelling the food will be able to smell it.

Most user friendly tray warmer!
Great value! Easy to use and lasts as long as advertised to keep food warm at the ideal temperature. No need to deal with flames, chaffer going dry, or gel alcohol again!
