Great Heater that gives consistent heat
UPDATE: I purchased a 2nd heater after choosing to no longer use my propane wall heater. This heater unlike the original has a very loud click/pop when it kicks back on to regulate temperature. It's actually pretty startling and I'm disappointed with it. Amazon is showing no more in stock so for now I'm keeping it.I will preface my review with sharing my house is small with low ceilings. 720sq feet. I have a propane wall heater at on end of the living room on very low and I use this heater at the other and into the bedrooms. I'll wheel into the bedroom at night leaving the door open. I ONLY use this heater on Low setting using only 600watts of power. Once the room is at 71 or 72 I turn the dial down until I hear it click to set the thermostat. So it's not even running all the time. I live in NE TN and the days have been in the 40s and nights in the 30s and 20s. It is nearly silent. It doesn't even click every time it kicks on and off. I only hear it when you first turn it on and the oil heats up. At the low setting the fins are hot but not like at the higher settings. If I brush into it I'm not going to burn myself. I use this with a air conditioner rated Amp extension cord. Please be very careful if you don't plug directly into outlet. Do not use a power strip and only use an extension cord that has a minimum of 1500watt capability. Overall very happy with this unit. Wish it rolled a little smoother but perhaps that bit of resistance keeps it in place better. It costs me about $44/mth to run it on low 24hrs a day without it kicking off. That's with my utility rate of $0.10kwh. Which at 600 watts is $.06 an hour. If I ran it on high with 1500watts it would cost $0.15/hr...roughly $111/mth.

Great product with a wonderful seller....
The media could not be loaded. I previously reviewed this item. I had purchased two of them (about a month apart). The switch on the 2nd one went bad after just a little over a month. The unit still got hot, but I wasn't able to adjust or tell what setting it was actually on. The seller was quick to make things right by replacing it. I haven't had a reason to use it yet as temps have warmed up, but I'm sure it will probably be just fine. Thank you, seller, for backing your product.

Switch randomly stopped working
The media could not be loaded. We use these for supplemental heat. We just woke up to a freezing room. I get up and feel no heat coming off the unit. Sure enough it’s ice cold. Trouble shot by unplugging and replugging in to power outlet. Turned temp setting all the way down then all the way up, heard the click at min like it wanted to turn back on. Let it sit for about 5mins, no signs of heating up at all. Wasn’t until I tried to turn the bottom setting dial that I realized that was the issue. Clicks down from 3-2-1-0 semi normal feeling with a weird resistance from 2-1 but when you go to click back upwards 0-1 there is a spongy feeling clicking then from 1-2 there is a very strong resistance almost feels like you’re going to break the dial before it finally pops into 2. Then 2-3 another spongy click. Neither setting provides any heat. I purchased Sep 21st and Amazon shows the return deadline was Oct 23rd. So this is super convenient. Especially in this economy and going into the coldest 2 month stretch of winter. Can’t even find an option to contact seller on Amazon after the return window closed, the button is grayed out. Otherwise I would be happy to provide the seller with this info to request a repair or replacement.

Radiant Heater
I like this Radiant heater. Easy to use & heats up the bedroom fast. Be careful not to touch the appliance while it’s on. It is very hot to touch, babies & pets should not get close or touch the heater.

Perfect for our drafty den!!
I got tired of having to replace our ceramic fan heaters due to them often clogging up with dust. So I ordered this oil heater and it has been perfect. It arrived in 2 days and it took me 5 minutes to put it together. It does an excellent job of warming up or den that tends to get pretty drafty during the winter season.I love:1. It's on wheels and can easily be moved around the house.2. It has 3 different power levels. This helps save on energy and also prevents blowing fuses when we have multiple heaters on the same circuit.3. It has a built-in thermostat that shuts off the unit once the desired temperature has been reached.4. It has no moving parts which means it will last longer.5. It has no fan that's responsible for blowing heat. This means no build up of dust to clog up the unit and cause overheating or premature failure of the unit.I hate:1. The metal fins get extremely hot and can burn a someone if not careful. There is not much that can be done about this as this is what makes the unit perform the way it does.I highly recommend this unit if looking for a heater that performs well and will last a long time!

The best way to save money in the winter!
Great money saver! I used it to warm bedrooms and they worked perfectly with no problems.

Worked great during our single digit freeze
We had our single digit freeze here in Texas and I ordered 2 of these a few mos ago to be prepared so they got put to use this week! They did well. 3 units downstairs and 1 upstairs to help our hvac not struggle too badly. I do have an old Kenwood brand I bought like 16 years ago and it is way more powerful than these new ones. So there is that comparison. Guess they don't make em like they used too, eh?

Won't last - don't recommend
We bought this in January 2024. It worked fine over the winter. We haven't needed it since March. Now, in the fall, we've plugged it back in to use on the chilly mornings. It overheated, partially melted and now the control knob only works in two positions and none of them are OFF. Had to unplug it and don't trust it. As for stoarge, it sat in the same place in the corner of the dining room over the spring/summer that it did for the winter. It's not like anything happned to it in a closet or basement for example. Looks like there's no warranty so it's garbage now.
