Does what it says it does.
Purchased one of these to make distro-hopping easier on myself. So, if you're getting slow speeds, you may want to check your card reader. I have multiple readers, and only 2 of them are USB 3. Doesn't matter how fast your port is if the reader itself is still using USB 2.0 speeds (most of which ARE, on adapters/dongles). You can prove that it's not the reader by slapping a regular uSD card in it and benchmarking it. If you're getting slow speeds with a UHS 1 sd card in the same reader then the issue is your reader.Cons: This thing is stupid tiny. I mean RIDICULOUSLY tiny. I've lost 2 of these @ work already.Thoughts: I used to have to flash the uSD card, boot, dd from the uSD to the EMMC, fix partitions and then reboot. Much easier to just do it all from the emmc. Faster too as the uSD card slot on most Pi's is slower than emmc.Rock Pi 4bPenta Sata HatOMV + btrfs

Really tiny - don't lose it!
Works great. I managed to lose mine on the first day and had to buy another one - it's really small. Other than that, I love it!

Not for Libre eMMC modules
Maybe the 1-star rating is a bit harsh, as I'm sure the device does actually work great -- just not for the Libre eMMC modules. The connectors looks the same, but they won't snap together. This device must be for some other eMMC module, so the 1-star rating is for the product description not being clear on its purpose and compatibility.

I retract my 1 star
I'm a dummy and I broke this. I'm sure this thing works just fine w/ Odroid products. But I did not realize that EMMC modules did not have a universal connector. The connectors are so tiny that even under my microscope I couldn't tell the connector on this thing was incompatible with my Libre EMMC. I should have done better research.

Doesn't Fit a Standard USB port
It's important to understand this eMMC reader is not for use with a USB port. The product marketing mentions USB but it only connects to a Micro SD port. If you have a way to use a Micro SD card with your computer this item will work well.
