My grandmother bought a solaron blanket back in the early days of the company and gifted it to me while I was in college. I wasn't fond of the pattern but the softness and warmth overpowered the aesthetics. That blanket is now around 16-18 years old and is just NOW getting worn out. I decided to purchase a replacement from the same company as the other faux mink blankets I've bought couldn't match the quality or comfort of my solaron blanket.The blanket I purchased arrived in a plastic zipper case. I immediately looked for the wash instructions and placed it in the washer. The blanket I purchased is king sized. It's very large, heavy, and doesn't quite fit my standard sized washing machine so I'll need to use the laundromat next time I wash it. Otherwise it's thick, warm, and gives a similar anxiety relief to the $100 weighted blanket I received a few years ago. I got the wolves pattern and the color did not diminish at all after the first wash. Very little lint was caught in the lint catcher on my dryer, and I had to send it through 3 cycles to fully dry.I have a small obsession with blankets due to one saving my life as a small child, so I am willing to pay for a quality blanket. The only complaint I have is the fact I won't be able to wash it at home, but the positives greatly outweigh this one drawback. I fully recommend any blanket from Solaron.

I like the beautiful print and color. I bought the blue wolf one. It is thick and warm as described. However I would like the blanket to sink to my body more instead of puffing up and creating air pocket. I bought Korean blanket twenty years ago and I'm still using it. The old blanket material sinks to my body and this style is hard to find nowadays. I've been to several stores and could not find the same style. The old style was made in Korea. Now Korean blankets are made in other countries like China or Vietnam. Other than that, I like this blanket but wish if I can find the same old style kind that is made in Korea.

First off, like wtf are you waiting for? Just buy it! (I should put a quote from 'The Office' so whoever reads this believes as I am a mere customer who live in san diego and as a Hispanic we didn't have the Kmink blankets but we did have San Marcos blankets which were great!)I bought a king, came true to size but keep in mind it'll measure like a king mattress. So two people at 6 feet tall? Ummm barely but for average people totally worth 10/10 would recommend. Wish there was a bigger one I'd pay double the price for foot wider and 2 feet longer.NORMALIZE BEING BIG N TALL!!All sjw and snowflake jokes aside just get this thing. Its made of like authentic unicorn whiskers smooth af like a new born english bulldog.

Holy crap at this blanket. When it arrived, I was SHOCKED at the weight of the package. I am SOOO pleased with how it looks and feels. It's definitely heavy (I weighed it, they're not lying about the 13 lbs claim) and it's so soft and, most important, WARM!!!If this thing has any sort of durability at all (it seems super well made though) then it will easily be the most awesome blanket I've ever used. My ONLY complaint is that it's not a true king size, but I knew that going in, I bought it for a queen bed, and I've included pics of the side (both sides had equal overhang) and foot of the bed (the top was even with the headboard with like 3 pillows under each side so without pillows figure maybe a few more inches overhang at the bottom). I also included pics of both sides since people seem to be curious about whether the design is on both sides. I really just can't say enough good things about this, just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!!

I ordered this for my son who is always "stealing" my double Korean"mink" blanket (two Korean "mink" blankets sewn together with a matching edge). I have been unable to find a blanket like mine that is as heavy and truly a double blanket. This blanket says "2-ply" which I was hoping meant double layered, but it is one layer printed on both sides. That said, it is nice and heavy for a single blanket. The weight in the description was accurate. It is soft and silky "mink" on both sides. My son loved it and now I don't have to feel guilty not letting him have mine. So even though this is not exactly what I was looking for, it is a beautiful, soft, heavy blanket.

As close to the original Korean blankets as you can get. Heavy and comfortable. The edging is a bit different but still very close to the original heavy blankets we purchased in Korea in the late 1970’s early 1980’s.

After looking for so many diffrent styles and brands i decided to go with this brand ’’ Solaron’’ it was in the 80 doller price range compared to others on amazon for 30 40 60. Reason why i went with this brand was because my grandmother owns one of these blankets with a tiger running down the blanket its lasted years and years. After receiving it and opening it i was very impressed its so soft and the design the tigers look so good its very brigth on color very happy with my purchase

I was looking for a replacement blanket for a mink/Korean blanket I used to have. I was so worried about getting a new one. I read all the reviews for different ones and decided on this one ( Solarian) . I definitely made the right decision! It's so soft and plush. Both sides are cloud soft which I love. I live in this thing. It was so worth the $74.99 I paid for it! Just make sure it says Solarian on the corner of the blanket. There are cheaper versions but they aren't the same.

Beautiful blanket. Pretty colours, the design is nice not tacky..( sometimes these blankets can be...um gaudy) they have different tastes in Asia.. good quality. The bad news is that shipping and duty cost more then the blanket.It got hung up in Canada customs and they felt the need to whack a $45 tariff on it. Fortunately it’s so beautiful...so as much as it became very expensive it will last for years. (Our cats really like it)..

We love this product. Plush, vibrant colours and thick. Seller provides excellent service, and it arrived quickly. I ordered another one because of the excellent quality and service.
