1000 MileMen's Fusion Merino Walking Sock

For my feet and my boots, these are the very best. I have about a dozen pairs of them. I tried several models of Thorlos, two versions of Darn Toughs and others, and they did not come close to these. In training for the April-June 2017 Camino Frances portion of the Camino de Santiago in southern France and across most of northern Spain (about 600 miles with Finisterre and Muxia on Atlantic Coast), I started using these socks combined with perfect-fitting hiking boots in May 2015 and continuing training today about 8000 miles later, I have not had one blister or one hotspot that lasted more than about 15 seconds. I have several pairs of the perfect-fitting boots and two are badly worn, but the 1000 Mile fusion models with the Merino wool exteriors continue to march very very well. I wash them after one day's wear and they dry naturally overnight. I feel lucky to have found these and I don't understand why they are not more popular. They are shipped from the UK.

I bought these to wear with my boots but sadly they are too thick. They also run a little large which can be annoying. The pros are that they are made well.

This product fell apart after being wore 1 time.

I've used 1000 Mile socks for a good few years and they're comfy and well made.Whatever you do though, don't tumble dry! One pair of mine got dried by accident and they shrunk down to Barbie Doll size 🤣Otherwise they have padding where you need it without too much bulk and the tactel lining seems to keep your foot dry and at a nice temperature.I've only once got a blister while wearing 1000 Mile socks but that was due to the lining of my boot creasing, without the socks it would have been much worse.Overall I'd recommend.

Very good socks, prevent blisters & rubbing. Do come up a little small though.

quite expensive but does the job, nice long soft socks
