Goodjob Knife Sharpening Stone Kit: A First Look
Goodjob Knife Sharpening Stone Kit: looks like a comprehensive set with a dual grit Japanese water stone, silicone base, angle guide, and flattening stone. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it seems promising for achieving razor-sharp edges. This review represents my personal opinion and experience with this product. Actually works good
This actually works good once you learn how to use it. The angle guide and the ease of use is definitely there after a couple videos on how to. Definitely worth the money definitely love the sharpness of the blades I've put on it and seems like the durability is going to be good.

Wears Down Quickly
I think this stone does a fine job of sharpening and is the perfect stone for learning how to use a water stone. I'm on my second one and in less than a year of sharpening it is already wearing down in the middle. Maybe my technique is a little off but the same thing happened to my first one. I hesitate to grind the ends down to make it flat instead of being saddle-shaped because that would be a waste of stone.IAC, the 'experts' say that a good stone lasts a lifetime and more. I'm thinking that with as much sharpening as I do (and that's a lot - mainly scissors) I should maybe shell out the bucks for a more expensive and durable stone. But I'm glad I started out with these stones to learn on. And as I said, I do a lot of sharpening - like an average of 3 times a week with 2 items each time. For someone sharpening once a month or less, I'm sure one of these stones would last longer than just a few years.

A good honeing stone set.
A great set. I am still learning to use it properly, but I will get there. I did have the most difficulty using the angle helper. It does well for short blades but not so well on long blades. Get a "feel" for how to hold the blade and you can leave the helper.

Nice set
Well-packaged and easily repackaged after use for storage. I find the knife guide rather useless as it just seems to get in the way, but the stone is fine. The rubber try keeps the stone in place on the countertop during use. I sharped all my knifes, 8 of them, in about a half hour. Very pleased with the set and it was a good price.

Not bad
A decent quick sharpener, but if you want razor sharp knife edges this won’t cut it.Great for wood working tools, chisels, axes, and other items that need a quick edge.Simple to use which is awesome with the guide, but the guide only gives you a 20° edge.
