I wanted a small but unique gift to celebrate my husband’s new job/office, and this top and base did not disappoint! It’s high quality and chic - perfect for any desk - but it’s also just a fun fidget toy! My husband said he and his colleagues challenge each other on how long they get it to spin. A great Amazon find!

This was delivered to a female friend who is enjoying it a lot. Well machined. Good quality. My friend is very happy and the small top suits her. I think the larger tops spin longer but they are more expensive than this set. The concave glass base is a very nice addition.

This is a really fun fidget toy and would make a great gift. I find myself spinning it at my desk without even thinking about it. It's a real joy to use. I was getting six minute spins on my first day, so I can easily see it spinning for ten minutes with practice.The top is fairly well crafted. The machining is pretty good, although not perfect. There were a few odd machining marks on mine, but really pretty minor. I only bring it up since this is the type of thing you'd expect to be near flawless.I knocked a star off because of the glass base it comes with. I'd highly recommend against using it. Within the first few days, the bottom of my top had become scratched and chipped from occasionally clipping the side of the glass while spinning. The edge of the glass is too sharp and rough and damages the top. The top now makes a scratching noise as it spins down because the bottom has gotten a bit scratched up. Also, the glass base had begun to chip a bit on the edges. And this is all from pretty light use. I'd suggest either getting the upgraded wood and glass base made by this manufacturer as that would prevent the top from contacting the sides, or order a base from another manufacturer with polished sides or the silicone bumper that goes around the edges.

We received our top and base quickly and the packaging was nice. The top is fun for our whole family, we have had a few spin offs to see who can make it spin the longest on the base. Great quality product, will buy from BCD again!

I've always loved tops and was really glad to get this one. The first time I spun it, I was surprised at how long it kept turning. It was kinda unstable at first because I didn't do a good job of spinning it up, but it soon evened out and turned for a long time (over 4 minutes). It looked so smooth that it was kind of hard to tell it was still going. The glass base is really cool too because it keeps it from going off of the table.

This top spins for quite a long time. It is very well made and high quality.
