My old waffle maker broke, and was looking for a new one but also wanted. Sandwich maker and didn’t want to have too many appliances on my already small counters, and I bumped into this and it has been the best purchase I’ve made on Amazon!Small enough to put away, and the fact that you I’m able to change to different modes of use is amazing! And easy to clean just remove the plates and wash! Seriously a must have !

My wife had been resisting my requests for a waffle maker or a toastie maker for years, on the basis that our kitchen is too small. I managed to persuade her that it could be useful during the upcoming 3 week visit of my daughter's family of four. Both the waffles and the toasties were big hits, especially with my wife! My only complaints are that - it was eaasier to clean when the cheese ran out. - it was easier to clamp down with denser/thicker bread - it was more powerful/hotter. It takes a while to warm up and for the contents to brown. Still, the bottom line is that we love it.

I mainly purchased this for the waffle maker. We make cinnamon roll waffles often. The sandwich maker works great. We have yet to use the grilling plate.

Yes, this does make tasty sandwiches. You should be aware of a couple of issues.It is very difficult to clean. The plates are non-stick, but the hinge side traps food if it runs out and you will need to use a small sponge or brush to work out the debris. The handle side has an index groove to make sure the top and bottom align, this is also hard to clean.You need to find bread about 4 ½ inches square.Plate alignment tabs, there are big and small tabs on opposite sides, didn't see this in the instructions. You need to get the big tabs in the big slots.It gets HOT, wear gloves or use hot pads.All right for the price, next time I'll get the Breville.

Iv used it twice. Was an intoxicated Amazon purchase. I think un-toasted is way better.

I bought this as I used to have a nice one to make hot sandwiches, well unless you use tiny bread you are not going to fit a sandwich in this. Also there is not temperature control and it smokes when hot which smells like burning wire. I was totally let down and will never buy this brand of any appliance again. Shame on you for your VERY inaccurate product description as well as lack of any quality product in this product.
