Fixed it!
GE fridge was freezing the bottom drawer. This was right price and available next day. It fixed problem. Also said this was improved over previous versions. Fridge sounds normal now and bottom drawer not frozen.

Easy to install
The part for our refrigerator was easy to install and solved our problem with the cooling of the top section of the fridge.

This was an exact replacement.
This seems to be a design flaw of GE. The first one was on them under warranty. I'm now on my third one when the replacement stopped. Disassembly is becoming easier and more familiar after the first two fans failed and needed replacement. I will say, GE made it fairly simple to get to.

Works as it should but whines
May ‘25 - The fan appears to be working just fine however I can confirm, as others have mentioned, it has a bit of a whine to it. It runs smoothly, immediately fixed my issue with cooling air not circulating, but the whine is a little noisy, slightly annoying if yours was quiet.

Motor is noisy

Replacement part for GE refrigerator
This replacement part has fixed the loud noises my refrigerator was making!! It's been over 6 months since we replaced it with this one and it is working better than ever! The build quality seems better than the last time we replaced it with a different model. It was easy to install and it fit well. The refrigerator is working better than ever. The refrigerator is cooling better than it ever did. It is definitely worth the value for the money and I feel certain the lifespan on this one will be better.
