This stuff is amazing, it’s easy and quicker to use than anything I have used in the past. It’s also great value for money and my new go too kit for joining wires quickly and efficiently.

Work exactly as intended. Just repaired the wiring on my wife's car with them - easy to do and saved a fortune compared to hiring an automotive electrician.

On the good side, have repaired Xmas light wiring with these, so only low current thin wires, used a small heat gun and results are good and tidy connection. Joins all seem secure can't fault this for small repairs.On the downside, description gives the impression the black sleeves are connection tubes, not so they are small shrink sleeves, if they were larger they could be useful but even for my thin wires they are too small thus its just padding to give the impression its good value for money, its tarnishes the better connectors giving rise to loss of ratings.

Work well so far.Didn’t have a heat gun so used a cig lighter !! Solder flowed easily,well happy.😃

Worked well for what I needed it for, good small selection of connectors that's handy to have around. The black heat shrink sleaves are a bit short but that's not what I bought the connectors for.

Unfortunately the kit only comes with one a bag of shrink tubes and they are too small for all but the thinnest connectors. Means the other 3 sizes don't have the option to add the extra layer of protection. Seems strange not to include some for each size connectors. As well as this I've been disappointed with the connections I've ended up with. After fallowing the directions to the letter I've had 4 out of 8 connections fail. Problem is the wires don't have room to overlap which means the solder only acts as a link between them instead of melting them together. If the 2 wires are only just touching at the tips the solder isn't bonding the together but just making a link that the 2 wires are both touching. Surely if the wires had room to be wrapped together before sliding the connectors over them both the strength of the connection would be much stronger. As it is the shrink part of them is giving them the only real strength. Like I said half of my attempts have ended with them pulling apart really easily. Not the easy and secure solution I was hoping for. The design is in need of some work. Wider opening and a wider section of solder would be a good improvement.
