I use these bags in hepa filtered shop vac for dust collection when sanding. These bags are an economical choice over the name brand bags. Quality is very good. Rugged and durable

Bag is considerably smaller in capacity than original Dewalt DWV012 bags. The Dewalt bags measure 23 3/4" wide x 21 5/8" long. The Powetec bags measure 16 1/8" wide x 25 1/8" long. Materials that the bag is made of appear to be of lighter weight and thinner material. Flow rate through through a new powertec bag appeared to be the same as a Dewalt bag that was used for months in my DWV012 drawing air from my cyclone separator, while using it for sawdust pickup. Since my old Dewalt bag wasn't near full, I reinstall it. I can't say if the Powertec bag would have more pressure drop when it is used but being smaller with less surface area it is a possibility. Price is considerably less compared to a Dewalt bag.

These bags blow open at the seams. The purpose of the bag is to contain the dust and protect your vacuum filters. If you are considering buying these bags just save your money and don’t put a bag in at all. At least then you can plan on buying new filters and spending an hours cleaning and washing your vacuum. I had an issue with them on the first order and assumed it was just a bad batch. I ordered more this year and they are still blowing apart. As you can see by my photos they are not even a quarter full when they blow out so it’s not user error. My dust extractor is filled with drywall dust yet again and at this point I’m sure my filters are trash. I’ve had to clean the vacuum and filters 5 times since switching to these “bags”.

Used on drywall and wood sanding. They fit well, install easily, no issues in my dewalt dust extractor.

Does the job on my Dewalt sheetrock vac, they are not as good as the actual Dewalt brand, but at a 1/4 of the cost they'll work just as well.
