The quality is extremely good on these bags. Obviously I haven't fire tested than and hope to not have to but.... They are strong and hold weight. I use this to carry a embosser in with other items.

This bag is a fire retardant document bag. It is designed to keep your small document safe in the event of a fire. But the fireproof bag itself will not be harmed by a flame. In my opinion using a bag like this in addition to a fire retardant/proof safe will give your confidential documents the best protection. I am comfortable putting my confidential documents in this bag while being placed in my safe. This fireproof bag will add to the my length of time if the house catches fire. There is some concern about the water resistance. The reasoning for one less star rating on water. If concerned double protect with zip lock bags. I will. I think this was a great purchase. Nothing is completely foolproof, but added protection is always a good idea. I would buy again. We use this product to hold some cash, car keys. The size is good and the quality of the product meets the expectation as well. Very helpful product if you want to keep some paper document in a safe place.

Functionality: This is perfect for what we were looking for. Highly recommend. Thankfully no fire, so can't say how it holds up then!

Upon opening the package there were 2 bags and I was not disappointed with the quality of material and construction. These are real nice small "What I call" money or any other small & valuable one might have to insert in these bags, and feel safe from fire damage. As far as the waterproofing goes, I don't know, for I have not tested them yet. The bags serve my purpose and I'm happy with my choice. These were just the right size for me. I also have a much larger fire/waterproof bag also made of fiberglass like these 2 I'm reviewing now, but It's for a different purpose. I really like these 2 smaller bags. For the price, you can't go wrong. Worked for me.

As long as product would do what it says it will do, I would recommend the bags. Hope to never find out if they really are fire proof.
