I started working leather about 4 months ago and I can honestly say these have been a game changer for me. Theyre not the highest quality possible but for my work they work perfectly.

I bought this as a beginners set for leather rafting and it has been wonderful. It’s a great needle set and they are stronger than a set of needles I purchased at a local hobby shop. The hole puncher is great for evenly spaced stitching. And the needle holder is top notch and a great way to store needles without a pincushion. It’s actually very beautiful wood with what looks like a brass inlay.

For me, the primary challenge of hand sewing leather is making even stitches and making them in a smooth path. This tool is very helpful for both. While not robust enough to punch holes through the leather, this tool makes laying out the stitch pattern quite easy.
