Really nice hat with what seems to be quality sticking. Packaged extremely well. Included sizing pieces for band which made it a perfect fit.

I have worn my women's medium just about every day for 7 years, to walk the dog, gardening etc. but it's time to be replaced after multiple washings (despite it still being in pretty good shape after multiple hand washings). One of the things I liked most about it is that most hats are too big for me but my old one fit perfectly in the women's medium. I was hoping that the men's wouldn't differ much. It seems they either aren't making or Amazon isn't stocking women's sizes any more so, sadly, I had to return this item.

I needed to go from a baseball style hat to one that would keep the sun off my ears. I ordered this hat hoping that it would be cool and provide the protection I need. The XL hat fit me perfectly. It is very comfortable to the point that I forget I have it on. I really like the color. Some other reviews complained about the hat arriving crushed but mine was packed in a box with supports inside so that the hat could not move around. It arrived in perfect condition. I will certainly consider Panama Jack for future hat needs.

I like the hat. The XL size and shape fit me perfectly. The quality and sturdiness of the hat is excellent. It's comfortable and has the right size brim for protecting my face from the sun. BUT...Make sure you want a rigid, slightly heavy weight brim. It's very sturdy but may be a bit too rigid for some, including me. Also, be aware that the "khaki color is much lighter than the khaki color on the original canvass hat.Good value overall.

I had to return the hat because it ran small, so bought it off the manufacturer's site because they didn't have a bigger size on Amazon. Love it.

Excellent hat for my husband on our cruise. He has a large head so the XL fits nicely without being too snug and is a classier alternative to traditional straw hats. I worry that hats can easily cross the line from debonaire to geriatric but this one just looks casually sophisticated. I see that other reviewers have complained about how poorly it was shipped to them but currently in July 2018, we received this in a hatbox-like carton. The hat itself packed nicely in a suitcase and came out wrinkle-free when packed correctly (fully open with soft clothing filling the hat so it keep its shape). It's neither heavy nor hot --it breathes in the heat but doesn't sunburn his balding head. We were in extremely hot and humid climates so naturally the crown showed salty sweat at the end of the day but it rinsed off easily and dried quickly without adversely affecting the shape, color or fabric. And this nice hat made my husband look even more handsome in our travel pics.
