Worked perfectly for my crate project
I had to build some crates, but I wanted to support the lid so it didn't go back too far and tear out the hinges. I ordered this set. They worked perfectly for what I needed. The nylon grommet allows it to rotate freely. Cable seems to be well made. Haven't had any issues.

Major Upgrade!
simple and easy to install, and they give a whole new life to my old cooler! I love the stainless cables as they are a major upgrade! This has the added benefit of saving my hinges from being over stressed every time I open the top!

Better than original straps
Easy install. Works as intended. Metal cable material should be more durable than original plastic lid strap that was replaced. Satisfied with purchase.

Lid Strap
These full stainless steel straps are perfect for a lot of different ideas. I purchased these to use on my boat replacing old broken straps for my hatch lids. They are strong and maintain abuse for everyday use. Great quality stainless with strong plastic rings to protect the surface of whatever you’re mounting too. They come with good quality hardware of different sizes for your different needs.
