The Biggest Story Bible Storybook

Our family LOVES this Bible and we read it with our kids every night as a part of their bedtime routine. The pictures are engaging and the wording keeps the attention of the kids even in the stories that are generally less kid oriented. We’ve read it with kids ages 0-14 and starting at around 2 they point out things they recognize in the abstract pictures while we read. Currently on our 5th time through! My only qualm is during our 4th time though the book started coming apart at the seams and is now completely separated from the front and back covers. Overall though this Bible is a must buy! We give it as a gift frequently.

I am reviewing this as a 44 year-old mother. Sadly, my son hasn’t been interested in reading much despite my best efforts… but that didn’t stop me from looking through this book! After looking through it, I decided to start at the beginning and have actually read the whole thing cover to cover. If you wanna be spellbound, go online and watch the free videos of each story and it follows the book word for word. This book is an absolute treasure, and will surely stand up against the test of time.

This is one of my two year olds favorite books. Worth it to see him enjoying the pictures. He’s a little too young for it since there are a lot of words, but I summarize it to tell him what the pictures are on each page.

This is such a beautiful retelling of the Bible through stories. Short and simple, yet they don't miss the lessons of the Word. Each story is only a few pages long and they all finish with a prayer that reflects on the lesson. I highly recommend this to everyone for their kids but it also makes a great gift.

We have read this so many times through with our daughter already. Every night before bed we read one story and i love the corresponding prayer at the end of each one. She is 2 and the stories and pictures keep her attention. Unlike other Bible storybooks, this includes a LOT more stories and books /sections of the Bible (not just David and Goliath, and Daniel and the lions den). It has stories from Acts and Revalation in it. It is beautifully and intentionally thought out and designed to teach children through the Bible, and about God. The storyline is carried throughout, showing them the design of this world, the Bible, and our creator. I gifted this book last Christmas to all my sisters with kids.

Beautiful book, carefully packaged, arrived in perfect condition. There are many, many wonderful reviews, I won’t write another one about content. However, I have never opened a book and been bombarded with the smell of toxic dyes before. It’s almost like the pages were hot off the press and still damp. It’s a children’s book, so the pages are attention-grabbing. But breathing all those toxins is v unhealthy. Once you inhale them, they reach the bloodstream and get distributed throughout the body. If you or whoever will be reading this book are sensitive or concerned about this, beware. It is pretty overwhelming and I am not usually bothered by much. But, again, it is a beautiful book. Possibly airing it out in the open would help to dissipate the odors. Worth a try. I remember in the 50’s and 60’s when teachers passed out tests -they were printed with purple ink. You could smell the ink on the freshly printed test papers. This memory came back when I opened the book!
