Only received 2 flares
“ 2-pack Strip of 12” was copied and pasted from the description. Thought I’d receive 12. Received one pack with 2 flares in it. I hate it when companies do this. It feels like they are purposely not clear in hopes that your too lazy to return it.

I only got 2 When I was Expecting 24
I thought I was getting 24 fire starters. The product description says " 2-pack - retail clip Strip - 2-pack Strip of 12" This sounds like you'll get 24. I would've never paid $14 for 2.

Replaces ignition and tinder
As a test, I took some split wood that was wet and placed this directly in between. No tinder, no kindling, just fuel. It dried it out and scorched it, but did not start the fire. But it almost did. If the wood had been dry from the start, it might have got a fire going. However I keep one of these in my fire kit as a "must have fire now or I die" backups to other methods, so I wanted to test under what conditions it could reliably start a fire.Based on my testing, I still would need some kindling. But even if the kindling was wet, and the fuel was wet, this at least replaces the ignition and the tinder, which is still pretty good.

Amazing....But EXPENSIVE!!!!
These are smaller than standard road flares, light on the first strike and easy to carry. I keep some in my EDC/Day Hike bag for fire starting in the winter. The chemical smoke smell is strong so stay upwind until it burns away.The biggest issue is the price and availability. These are hard to find and too dang expensive.

Received product appears water damaged
We received the product in a timely manner. However, the product we received appeared water damaged. We tried to return the product, but it was not eligible for return. So we are stuck with them and will try them out this spring.We will probably only buy these at a brick and mortar store from now on.

Great if you must have a fire to stay warm or survive.
Works great. Will help you start a fire when you absolutely need one. Basically a road flare that burns more and with more focused heat.

I received a package with two small clear plastic bags with two flares each. 4 total. No packaging or directions even. Took me a few minutes to even figure out what they were. Nothing to even show what the priduct was feel i was ripped off
