Good for summer and winter
These are my favorite socks. They're a bit pricey, but it's worth it. They are thick and durable, moisture-wicking, and they fit well, I have wide feet and these are still very comfortable. I wear these in both the summer and the winter because they are so nice to wear. Amazon says I should comment on how they look as well, but they look like socks. Do people normally see your socks? Maybe you should wear these over your pants so you can tell people how nice they are.

None Better
I’ve bought dozens of socks and these are the perfect example of getting what you paid for. The price scares most people but if you want comfortable, warm, moisture wicking sock that will not give you blisters, these are the Sox to buy and own! I use the term own because they last literally for years. In an ideal world invest in these Sox and get a pair for each day. Hikers who cover many miles know all about this brand. Runners, golfers and athletes who want dependable comfort and performance should own these. I use them religiously for winter hiking and cold weather. I also wear them in summer because they out perform most summer designs as well. But a pair a month for seven months and you will have years of comfort, performance and quality.

Great Socks But Small
They run a little small. I'm a Medium for Darn Tough but this medium doesn't fit well. Overall great socks, I'm going to give them to my partner and buy large. I have worn this same pair along with a pair of Darn Tough for the last five years. These have holes and the others don't. That said, the Smartwool are a softer more comfy sock, but they will develop holes faster. These also look a little nicer for work. At the end of the day, I will be buying a couple pairs of both brands to try our different models and because I like both brands for different reasons. These are better day to day and the Darn Toughs will always be first choice when backpacking.

They work!
I walk about 5 miles a day for work and these socks have been so good at keeping my feet dry and comfortable. They don't move around or bunch up. They are pricey but worth it . The fit is true to size and the targeted cushion helps with fatigue .

Comfortable, durable, nice looking, fuss-free, don't shrink in the wash
I have some other Smartwool socks that I've preferred over these, but I am growing to like these more and more each time I wear them. I'm on my feet around 11 hours a day so I pay attention to my feet. These are some of the best I've found for my feet, which aren't anything special. 10.5 D & I'm 5 ft 10 165 lbs. They're warm but not bulky which is an issue I have with Carhartt socks I have. Too bulky to wear with my boots all day. These also have been washed multiple times with no shrinkage. That's nice, as I've bought lots of socks that shrink several sizes with one wash. (I'm just a guy, admittedly not a master clothes-washer.)

Good winter hiking socks.
I was looking for a mid-level cushion wool sock for winter rucking. These are perfect. They are thick enough for warmth, but not overly so. Moisture wicking is good. Price seems typical for wool socks, and they are worth the price.
