If your dog does not chew their bed, this bed will last a very long time. I bought one 2 years ago, and it still looks and feels like new even though my 70 lb dog sleeps on it all the time. The foam holds up beautifully over time and she prefers this bed over all others. So I finally bought another one for my other dog. They are very sturdy beds, wash up nicely and I just can't say enough about the orthopedic foam. I tried a couple of other beds that I thought they would like, but when I got them they just felt flimsy and the foam was subpar, so I wound up returning them and going back to what I know is one of the best beds I have every bought. Lesson learned, stick with what you know is good!

It's supposed to be 9 inches thick, but after 2 days of letting it sit out it only expanded a couple of inches.

My dog loves this bed. it's big enough that she can jump and run. It's easy to clean, I don't worry about doing laundry. the cushion and pillow are easily to be moved out .
