Excellante 60-Inch Wood Mixing Paddles

After several years of therapy, I am now able to use this large wooden spoon. When I was a boy, my Mom would break wooden spoons when spanking my butt like she was a blacksmith in Game of Thrones forging Valyrian steel. So, when I got this, I immediately became catatonically immobilized as soon as I opened the box it came in. But, after years of rehabilitation, this long spoon/paddle has helped me overcome my childhood horrors. I highly recommend this product for your own personal healing. Oh, and it works great in cooking too.

I am very satisfied with this mixing paddle! Solid straight & tight grained & thick enough ( 5/8" thick ) to muddle certain soups, if desired. Fits my 24 quart SS Pot perfectly & two hands to stir, if needed. This paddle is strong & all surfaces smoothly sanded & edges rounded smooth. The paddle edge is beveled on both sides. I was Leary about ordering this paddle because of not enough description & poor picture quality along w/no side views Maybe this will help certain possible buyers with future decision making & sellers in better future product details! All I need do is give my new paddle a good drink of mineral oil & it will be ready to paddle away!

Both handles were broken during shipping beyond repair. I would not recommend these paddles to any one . IN FACT I MADE FIRE WOOD OUT OF THEM IN MY WOOD STOVE

It is the exact length we needed for our deep chili pot.

These paddles worked very well for our purposes (which was to mix powdered sports drinks in 5 & 10 gallon water coolers). The handles were a bit awkward to hold, but otherwise worked well. All the aid station personnel reported using the paddles were a big improvement over previous methods.

It was not a solid piece of wood but I could see that it was a three piece wood and glued together. I don't know if it will not come apart with heat and liquid during cooking
