I’m really pleasantly surprised with this nail polish given so many negative reviews. I always look at reviews and pictures before buying nail polish and took a leap of faith as there weren’t any for this colour, which is ‘Rebecca Red’. I’ve been looking for a flattering red gel polish that doesn’t have any orange undertones at all, which isn’t that easy! It’s a little darker than I expected but I’m actually really pleased with it and I know I’ll be using it a lot.When I first opened the bottle it looked a bit congealed and sticky but after I shook it a bit it was perfect, and I didn’t have any problems with application or curing. In real life the colour looks a tiny bit darker than my photo, perfect for autumn/winter in my opinion. A really pretty red - with no orange undertones. This is the day after application so I can’t speak for longevity yet, but everything seems fine so far. No immediate peeling or anything.For context, I’ve previously been using lavender violet gel polishes and tried bluesky and this has the best coverage. 2 coats and you’ve got full coverage, compared to 3-4 with lavender violet and bluesky gel polish. I did 3 coats on this hand but I don’t think the extra coat wasn’t really necessary.Hopefully this helps someone!

I've been using Beetles products for over a year now and really like them. Recently, wanting to try out a new French nail technique, I purchased the Baby Pink colour based on what I saw on my screen (which looked soft and muted). Turns out the Baby Pink is much more vibrant and loud than I expected so I went back and got Ballet Slippers instead - which turned out to be the PERFECT colour for me. It has a slight purply undertone that goes really well with my skin tone. I've added pictures of the 2 colours side by side. Left is Ballet Slippers, right is Baby Pink.

The eucalyptus colour is so nice! It's very beginner friendly and the colour is so gorgeous. It goes on so smoothly and the colour is so pigmented 😍 It said apply two coats but tbh, I barely see a difference between one coat and two. A looott of product in one bottle too. The other colour I bought was "Beyonce Caramel" and I'll leave a separate review for that colour too :)

Wish I took a photo of the applied product as its definitely not red more of an orangey colour which will work OK ish in the summer when I've got a bit of a tan but not the red that I wanted or as advertised. Also peeled straight off after 3 days. I normally use CND but I read the reviews on this one and my daughter has tried it a couple of times so I thought I'd save some pennies and give Beetles a go. It goes on great and dries well but I couldn't believe that it peeled straight off after only a few days. I have another colour that I'm going to try, so for now the jury is out but I wouldn't recommend trusting the colour charts!
