This book has been very beneficial in understanding the fine line between antinomianism (lawlessness) and legalism, as well as pointing out some of the deeper meanings behind old testament occurrences, as well as pointing to how Christ fulfilled them on our behalf as the New Adam. The notes are very useful, it is hard to read at times, written in Elizabethan English like the KJV, and utilizing roman numerals for chapters, but that is also educationally challenging (for me anyway). My wife got this for me (she is Sara, I am Daniel, not a woman lol) for Christmas and it is the best gift I have ever received aside from Salvation.
