I really like this knife and it's a very pretty display piece. It's surprisingly sharp for the design and thickness of the blade and I will likely purchase another for a collector friend of mine. The only comments I might have that aren't really good are: I don't know that I would use this in the kitch, though it's plenty sharp. The design that makes it so unique causes it to have small gaps in the edge. These gaps are in the pictures of it, so it's not a surprise, nordoes it take away from it's quality. The hilt is nice, but it came unpolished, though it feels good and has nice texture, I put a bit of polish on it and it looks great. It a full tang knife. Which is a bit unusual for a modern knife but it adds the expected weight and sturdiness, again, good things. However, it has a brass nut screwed onto the end of the handle, holding it together (somewhat visible in the pics). For such a good looking, solid and decently made knife, it's a little incongruent. Otherwise I like it and it's adds an unusual element to the other knives and swords I have

This knife is made very well. It’s not only a beautiful knife to wield, but also sharp and functional. I hope to get many years of use out of this knife. What a bargain at under $50.

I got it as a gift for my dad and he loves it. You can never have too many knives and this one has so much craftsmanship. Great as a gift

I like the look of it but I was promised a razer sharp knife and about the only thing this would be able to cut is warm butter. I have been grinding away at it and have finally gotten it to an edge but I didn't expect to have to grind an edge on a knife that promised so much. I hope it holds the edge. It's a Christmas present so I guess I'll have to wait and see if it lives up to anything more than just looks. Here's hoping I am not humiliated later.
