Great product!
The products works great! It was easy to install and the output voltage is spot on. I've had it for a couple of weeks and the frame doesn't heat up. It stays cool to the touch.

Works as advertised, good to go. With "update".
Update 9/21/23 So far no negative issues to report. Bought a second unit and am now running them parallel providing a 60 amp base supply at 13.8 volts...both units set at exactly same voltage with a 4 decimal volt meter for exact match to run a larger linear amplifier pulling as much as 50+ amps for extended periods (long QSO's or talk sessions). I have not experienced any issues with heat buildup, power fluctuations, voltage drop is negligable and mine have not shown any problems with grounding (my entire station is well grounded) and I do check my individual components - Not dismissing others comments, just saying I have not experienced a grounding issue. Have recommended same unit to my Son who is also a radio operator.Original post:I am using this at14.26 volts to power a small Ham Radio Amplifier providing solid voltage (love the very adjustable output voltage) and solid amps during peak transmissions. The unit provides adequate power to provide a solid 200-225 watts out to antenna from the supply. The thermal fan control works (no constant fan running like some other of these smaller supplies), voltage drop is less than .3 volts at the 225 watt output peaks....we shall see how it goes for long term use but so far I'm pleased with performance per dollar....will buy again for a parrallel twin supply setup if I see no issues over the next month (will report back). For those HAM's worried about whether for HAM or CB, I'm a licensed Ham Op. so you can save those negativities for someone else.

Great for running 12 volt systems.
I'm a DYIer. I put together a sound system for my computers and intertainment components. My monitors surround my really comfortable chair. Perfect for music, games and just viewing. Complete surround system with crossovers and separate amps. I'm in heaven. I'm also single and only have cats for company. I'm 69 and retired and I want my last years to be enjoyable.

UPDATED: ISSUE RESOLVED (Did not last - either defective manufacturing or bad design.)
UPDATE: The original review was written based on the unit shipped to me. The seller quickly provided a replacement as a warranty which I have now had in operation for a couple of weeks. The unit works as advertised. As a higher power unit there is an integrated fan for cooling. This didn't work on the original unit which may be why it failed in the manner it did. The fan does generate some noise when on but it does cycle on and off as needed. You may want to keep this in mind depending on your installation requirements.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Bought the 30A power supply to run multiple 5 meter LED light strips (sold by same seller). It is a simple unit with good value for what it is supposed to do. The lack of any real instructions is not a hinderance. Upon arrival I attached a power cord (3 wire) to check operations. Output was nominally 12VDC with some slight ability to adjust this as expected. During the next month I installed the power supply and one string of LED lights as part of an in progress project. Seemed to work well but then I noticed some dimming of the lights over time. (a single 5M strip is well under the max rating of this unit). Measured the voltage at the LED strip and discovered it was now 9.5VDC. To make sure this wasn't an installation issue with the LED wiring I disconnected them and measured again at the power supply. Same result. Subsequent testing showed that the unit's output decreased over its on time regardless of load. I have measured it as low as 8.1 VDC with the adjustment turned all the way up. Either a bad unit (trying to get in touch with seller for a warranty replacement but not easy) or a bad design.Update 4/3/2020: the seller has offered to send a replacement unit. I will update this review once that one has arrived and been checked out.

This works great with little diesel heaters
I have three of these now. They are perfect for the 12vdc power that the diesel heaters need. With the heater using this power it is steadily putting out 12.5vdc. So no need for a battery unless we loose grid power, which is extremely rare. I can heat my big shop with the diesel heaters for 24 hours without having to worry about electric power or fuel. These have been a great replacement for batteries and chargers. Also way way less expensive. Can’t buy a charger for this low price. These should be great for a lot of projects. Very well worth buying !!!!

Great 12V DC psu for my pixel light display
I am running about 6000 pixels in a Christmas display. I have 4 of these in total to power them in different locations. They have worked without issue and I have a spare on hand just in case. The price is right, fast delivery, and perform for my needs.

These don’t last, under long idling times.
I have used three of these low amperage 12 V power supplies, in one form or another. From the same brand name, they all last slightly longer than the return time. I wish they lasted longer. I have used them for running the 12 V stereo in my toolbox. They start out working just fine and after a few weeks start having trouble, last week I checked it it only had 8.7 to 8.9 V. I checked it this week, and it only has 2.4 V output. I feel like the idling time, between the times that I use it, are what is killing them. They just don’t hold up well under the circumstances. I returned one in January, got my money back, and re-ordered another one, only to be disappointed again. I wish I could get my money back on this one. Then I would be all finished with these.
