Perfect for the project
I used this to make a small room replica. I was worried about cutting the wood, but it cut cleanly with an Xacto knife. It took the stain in a nice even finish. Overall I was very pleased. I only gave it 4 stars for sturdiness -- it is balsa wood, after all.

Sturdy and easy to cut, but some pieces were warped
This balsa wood was easy to use and cut to varying angles using a miter clipper. The only problem is that some of the pieces were bent, probably from the two very tight rubber bands that were used to hold the bundle together. If they could use looser bands or some other method of keeping them together during shipping, I think it would resolve the issue.

These were perfect!
I used them for a special art project that included stain, ink and wood burning tool... they were absolutely perfect and the project came out amazingly well!

Breaks so easily
I am not sure what the purpose of this wood is or if it can even be called wood. It is sturdy in one direction, but breaks so easily if slightly bent in the other direction. Even when it didn't break, it was chipped around every cut.
