Dell WD15 Monitor Dock 4K with 180W Adapter, USB-C, (450-AEUO, 7FJ4J, 4W2HW)

I have a Dell XPS 9500 laptop. Dell computers seem to work better with other Dell componentry - it's just the way it is. I had tried similar to a little lower priced docking stations and there were always glitches. The WD15 docking station is a very affordable solution. The WD15 was plug and play and although it's only been a bit over three weeks so far it has been excellent and does everything well. All the ports pick up immediately including the ethernet port without having to change settings. I like it and would recommend this as a buy.

Needed to replace a legacy dock and this was where I found it. New in the box works just fine for me.

03/12/2020: The docking station has stopped charging my XPS 15 9570 laptop after 11 months. I have run all Dell h/w diagnostics and the laptop USB-C port works just fine. The docking station is not charging up the laptop as it had previously. It is failing in its charging function.03/14/2020: Update. I want to thank eDealerTech for their quick response to my email. They decided to replace the failed docking station. You guys rock and for that, I've raised the Overall Rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. Thank you for your excellent customer service.

Perfect for home at a very good price. Charges laptop also. One star deducted as there’s only one HDMI. Had to get a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI converter to connect other monitor.

First, let me make it clear I am not a hardware person!I started working remote and had to buy the office set up, dock, monitors, keyboard, etc. Of course, this was with the help of my son that works in the IT industry.When everything came in I was shocked at how easy it was to set up, the quality of this dock is amazing. I have used it about a month now, it is high quality and worth every penny. I highly recommend. My son did good!

I was surprised to see a dusty unmarked brown box with tape decorating (but not adhering to) an edge. All the same, I was eager to try a new 'dock' after having such bad experiences with lower cost alternatives.When I did open the box, the poorly sealed bags and thin layer of dirt (inside and out) made me second guess now "new" my new dock was.After opening a bag, I was convinced --- that was (at best) a refurbished product.I don't have anything against a refurbished product, but I like to know what I'm buying when I click the order button. Especially when I'm setting it up as a gift for someone.Unfortunately, there are some stubborn oil/dirt marks on the case, and I feel like the product was not correctly advertised/labeled.Otherwise, the dock seems to be working as expected.

The seller has great service if anything goes wrong.

Docking station stopped working and when I called for technical support they said the warranty expired product is five years old. I just purchased it in Nov 2022 and didn’t expect a used product. Very disappointed
