Farm Tuff Durable Outdoor Hanging Plastic Automatic Poultry Feeder with Customizable Flow Rates for Chickens, 25lb Capacity

I got these to put out at the pens with the new babies that aren't big enough to graduate to the port feeders (if they can fit inside the ports, they WILL, and with the way the port feeders work the slightest vibration can cause the food to come down on them and bury them and they don't survive that). I got two and they both are working very excellently. They are adjustable, but even at the lowest setting plenty of food comes through and the chicks have no problem with getting enough. It also seems to be made out of pretty durable plastic. The price is good for what you get. All this in mind, don't put these out in the sun as they are still plastic and plastic degrades in the sun just like plastic buckets will eventually. Keep them in a shaded area and you should be good for maybe 7 years of life if dealing with the rest of the weather things, more if used only inside a sheltered area. It well holds 25 lbs as well which is nice because chicks go through food like it is going out of style and this keeps them good for many days before a refill is needed. I'm very pleased with this for this for this specific purpose.

Item came delivered dirty the kind of dirt th hat you get when storing something on a shelf for a long time. Good product though easy to use.

I have older models of these. This newer one is of thinner plastic, both the white top hopper and the red feed tray, and the tray is shallower and has a slightly smaller diameter. This is just to notify those looking at these that had the older model and are looking for another. For me, the old ones last about 3-4 years if left out in the sun (as I do), then become so brittle from UV damage they crack apart like totilla chips. So the new thinner ones won't last quite as long, I'd imagine. I'll keep these, but I'll probably look elsewhere next time.

This feeder is HUGE and sturdy. I love not having to refill as often as the smaller ones. Just fill and hang, easy peasy.
