And it works better for me by itself vs. with a serum. I bought it after seeing the founder's gorgeous skin in a video ad and hearing her description that it helped combat redness. I am in my late 40s, and I expected that this would just be another product in the line of various serums and creams that I have tried to combat fine lines as well as reduce redness from keratosis pilaris and a very mild case of rosacea. I was astonished to find that this product does everything it claims. When I first started using it, I was still using a serum with it, and it was just ok. The smell was also different, though it didn't trigger my extreme sensitivity to fragrances. Then I forgot my serum on vacation and had to apply the cream by itself, and that is when the magic started to happen. My skin tone was visibly more even with less redness, it looked more plump, and fine lines really did start to soften. I've kept applying it alone so it can absorb better, and I absolutely love the look and feel of my skin now. It is actually controlling and keeping the KP at bay, and when I wear makeup, it goes on beautifully. It's like I took 5-10 years off my face, and I really do see that proverbial glow. The scent has grown on me, and I even started applying a little to the backs of my hands at night and am seeing positive changes. I am so glad that I found this product!

This is the best moisturizer I have ever used, by far! It has never caused me to breakout. It literally leaves my skin glowing after I put it on. Added bonus, It smells high end- like the perfect essential oil blend. I've tried a lot of products, but have been using this for about a year. I will be a loyal customer for the future. Its worth the higher price.

I've had bad luck with the stronger nighttime moisturizers, but I also don't love the idea of caking my face with SPF daytime moisturizers before bed every night. I've been using Murad's for nine months now (just about to run out of my first order) in conjunction with hyaluronic acid and the results have been amazing. The consistency is thick and creamy rather than oily, even nine months into the jar, so the breakouts that came with other, more greasy moisturizers aren't a problem. It also absorbs exceptionally well as long as you're applying it to dry skin--just be sure to wait a bit after getting in the shower or applying other product first. It's also the most expensive cream I've used, but the results are so good that I'm done experimenting. For what got-- nine months of no more breakouts or dryness--it's worth it.

I wanted to give this five stars because I feel overall this cream is effective and wears well. I may have gotten an expired batch bc my biggest issue is the smell. It’s like briny pickle juice. I can’t get past making my skin smell like pickle. Maybe I’ll try to buy direct and see if a more fresh batch would smell better.

Love this and have been using for about 5 years. I have dry skin so I use this every morning. No breakouts and feels good. Last a long time so good value. Not cheaper on Amazon but it does come quickly.

I love this cream! It's on the "heavier" side intended to intensely moisture your skin. Great as a night cream or prep. The first and third jars I bought were directly purchased from Ursa Major online, but I purchased my second here on Amazon. The consistency was not the same... thick and somewhat clumpy, not smooth :( I imagine there are a lot of variables with Amazon stock (temp control, shipping/storage, shelf life, etc) that perhaps cause the product to degrade. I used it anyway, but could tell the difference on my skin and didn't get the same suppleness, evenness I got when purchased directly from the source. I'll only be buying from the Ursa Major website from now on.

I am often skeptical of skin care products because I often feel I use them for a few months but never entirely feel I see any real change or improvement in my skin. Little did I think I would feel so positively about a more natural product for my skin. I have very sensitive skin in part to genetics but also since I’m on long-term steroids as part of immune suppression I take for 2 kidney transplants over the past 15 years. I often will use a lighter weight moisturizer during the day to keep from feeling too oily but I do use Tretinoin for skin care under the guidance of my dermatologist for a few skin conditions I have. This also leaves my skin more sensitive, thereby I like to use a thicker, more rich cream moisturizer at night. I have religiously used CeraVe Moisturizing Cream nightly (I still do!) but have started alternating with that and this Ursa Major product. The scent isn’t offensive to me but it isn’t the best scent for my nose, but it’s not off putting to the point that I would stop using it or not recommend it. This product truly feels so rich and creamy. I love the feeling it has going on to my skin and, truth be told, I am so amazed at how well and how quickly it absorbs into my skin in light of the thickness of it. A small amount really goes a long way but my skin never feels irritated from this cream and my skin often feels so much more relaxed after putting it on before bed. I can’t say that I feel I’ve seen any significant difference in my skin yet (been using about 2 weeks now) but the feeling I have after using is enough to keep me as a loyal customer. I feel badly for those who have posted having irritation after using the product but I feel those review unjustly give this product a 1 star - not every skin product is going to agree with every single person and, yes, there will always be a percentage of individuals whom have negative reactions to this product or other skin care. Does that warrant a 1 star? To me, no. I recommend this product for how it makes me feel and how my skin feels after and will purchase again!

Nice cream - couldn’t say I noticed a glow or any difference.

Really disappointed with this product, for the amount it cost I was expecting alot more from it. Been wearing it daily since I brought it and my face is not hydrated at all . You have to top it up during the day. Waste of money totally !
