Minky Compost ECO Food Caddy, Grey

Great size and quality, I was looking for something small for my cats meat packets to stop the main bin stinking, and because its small it prompts me to empty it more frequently. Really easy to clean and I liked the pale colours. Initially when reading reviews I was put off by the mention that it doesn’t completely seal shut, but now I understand that air needs to flow or waste gases could build. I actually don’t find that it creates a smell unless I open it and there’s waste in there.

This robust and good quality caddy is slightly smaller in capacity than the brown ones given out by our council but looks so much nicer on the counter top. It is squarer in shape and takes up less space but still has plenty of room for a days worth of tea bags and peelings. The black colour looks really smart and matches my other kitchen accessories beautifully.Very pleased.

It is way smaller than I envisioned! However, it suits me just fine and fits on the kitchen window ledge nicely. I feel like the little plastic that helps to secure the bag in place is not as sturdy and snug fit as I would like. It feels like it just sit there rather than fitting in properly. The lid just falls onto the bin, but it gives a good enough seal so no problem. However, I have a feeling that, if you accidentally knocked the bin over, the lid will open up easily and perhaps the plastic fitting for the bag might even come loose. So, be careful.

This caddy looks smart on the worktop. has plenty of room and easy to use and clean.

Perfect size for 1-2 people. The little green bag holder is really useful, holds in place well.Has a little 'lip' on the front of the lid, easy to open when your hands are full.Gave it a wash in hot soapy water before using and it was fine, washed and dried well, but probably don't use water that's TOO hot in case it warps the plastic (don't use boiling water).would have liked if there was more of a seal to keep bugs/flies away but I can understand why there isn't one, compost/food scraps create gases, don't want the lid popping off!The stickers were really easy to remove, just peeled right off.£8 at time of ordering. I am happy with the size and quality received for the price paid.

The product is ok but the lid is not airtight so you need to put something on top to stop the smell coming out.

This is a great little caddy. I love that it’s well made and not flimsy at all. The handle is convenient for carrying it around and is quite sturdy. It looks nice and I like the colour so I don’t mind having it out on the side whilst I prepare food for vegetable peelings etc. it’s easy to clean too.

Mi serviva un secchio per l'umido non caro, carino, bianco e discreto ho trovato questo modello è sono molto soddisfatta di averlo preso, non è molto grande infatti è da tavolo , ha il ferma sacco e il coperchio non cade all'apertura , ottimo prodotto.

Même la boîte remplie de pelures de légumes, des pelures qui commencent à pourrir, aucune odeur ne se dégage, super fonctionnel et pratique, pas besoin de s’éclipser pour ouvrir, juste à soulever le couvercle: pratique quand on a les mains pleines, on peut même ouvrir avec le pied et refermer de la même façon ! Top!!

Produit reçu non conforme à la description puisqu'il en manque la moitié.. la qualité est plus que douteuse en plus ! Le couvercle est de travers puisque sans le support de sac il a un jeu entre le pot et le couvercle... Je suis déçu !

Got this to replace a makeshift caddy I was using. This is very nice to use, quite some capacity so I don't need to empty it multiple times a day. The lid opens and stays open easily, and the handle makes it easy to move around.
