This collar is not only cute, but well made. I put it on my American Bulldog, adjusted it. and have had no problems. He's a rescue that was severely abused and when he gets scared he tries to pull away and had backed out of a couple collars in the 2 months I've had him. This martingale collar solves this problem. I feel a lot better knowing that he can't get out of it while we're on walks if something scares him.

As an owner of dachshunds throughout my life, them being able to maneuver their bodies in a way they can slip through a regular collar is a thing I’ve always dealt with. Martingale collar’s are perfect for preventing that due to the collar tightening when they try and pull against their lead or leash.I was recently house sitting for my sister, who’s son has a golden doodle and she kept slipping off her collar when my bf would take her out to potty and I wasn’t there. Meaning I had to leave work twice to go and catch her and get her inside. After the second time I remembered these collar’s, got on Amazon and found this one for a decent price and ordered immediately. She hasn’t escaped since! They really work wonderful if you have a dog who knows how to slip themselves out of there regular collar. For big out small dogs.This one was really cute, inexpensive, came fast and feels really sturdy like it will last a long time. Would recommend!

My English mastiff has a big ol head. I mean big. Finding a collar that for over that… and reinforced positive training… and was affordable… and was pretty? No way. Until this!! It pulls just tight enough to remind her to walk with manners, it adjusts easily to fit safely on her neck but loosen over her head.. I just love it.

My dog, Pumbaa, has sensitive skin and often gets irritated by collars rubbing his neck. Because of this, we had not previously been using collars--only a harness when we take him to public places like the park. However, we recently had a cat get outside and never return (though she was microchipped), so I decided we needed to make sure Pumbaa had some form of identification just in case anything happened. This martingale collar is perfect for him! He is a small dog, so I was worried it would be bulky on his neck, but it is the perfect size. It allows for a looser fit so that it doesn't irritate his neck, but then tightens when needed by the pull of the leash. I will admit that his ID tags were difficult to put on there because the ring on the collar is so thick, but that's also a good thing because it makes it more durable.

This is one of the few companies that makes a martingale no chain in patterns, we tried RC collars with chain as only ones in our town we could find the RC made he neck turn gray terrible! This company makes much better collars and stands behind them! Make sure you measure head and neck of your dog and use biggest of the two to match with collar size !

Nice quality and it also arrived before estimated delivery time. Very cute too, it it not easy find a nice design for male dog. However it is very big! I always bought XL collars for my dog buy at extended size (38”) this could fit a bear. But at its smallest (24”) the XL fits my german sherperd x pit… A large would have been better.

Arrived in a timely manner. I’m glad my dogs are big. The collars should fit both dogs but a smaller size might have been a better option. The only dislike I have is I feel the stitching should have been doubled up to ensure durability but they seem ok time will be the judge. I like this type of collar because when there’s no tension on the collar they loosen slightly. Advice never attach your dog to a chain if you use a metal choker collar I went to this style because I almost lost my dog to a choker and chain. The choker had to be cut off my dogs neck as it was about to literally choke him to death. Cloth collars can be cut easily if they get snagged on anything. Thanks to companies like this for products that ensure my pet is safer.

The fit is great and it seems like my dog likes it as he has yet to complain. The only thing I didn't notice before I bought it is that it does not have a quick release.
