Using for photography bean bag. Works great

I poured the whole bag by myself and didn’t spill a single one!I needed to add some fluff to a sagging reading pillow, so I bought this bag of static-filled styrofoam beads. I thought on how I could counteract the static and came up with the idea of using a dryer sheet as a funnel into the pillow and it worked like a charm!!!! I made a funnel out of Gain dryer sheets and pinned it to the opening of my pillow, then I snipped one corner of the bead bag and poured them into my “funnel.” They all went down without sticking to anything or spilling! There were some beads clinging to the inside of the bag afterwards, so I stuck a piece of a dryer sheet inside the almost empty bag, shook it up, then poured the last few beads in my funnel. The dryer sheets made it so that I poured the entire bag of styrofoam beads by myself without spilling a single bead. I was astounded and wanted to share this idea with other crafters.

First I will say that if you are using these foam beads to fill something, buy yourself a can of StaticGuard! Spray your hands, what your filling and most of all the BAG!!! This will save you such a huge headache of the beads sticking to everything!!Then just make sure you buy enough, this small pouf took 4 1/2 bags to fill. Make sure you're buying the right size bead for the project, this will also save you time and money!

I had a really hard time estimating how much 2.8 oz of poly beads would be....so I gambled and bought these...and now I'm probably going to end up buying more. (I wish I had just bought the big bag at a big box store with a coupon.) I've included a photo of the unopened package next to a half-gallon of buttermilk for reference as to how many beads 2.8 oz is size-wise. Bottom line, I don't feel like these are a great value for how many you get. They were only returnable if I paid return shipping (my mistake ordering from a seller other than amazon).

i ordered this because scamazon said that this was what i ordered before. i got it, saw that the beads were different sized and hoped they would be soft. they are miserably hard and completely unusable as a pillow.

Needed something to act as snow in my Christmas ornaments. This did the trick. They were the perfect size for the ornaments. But very staticy. I still have a lot left after completing 12 ornaments. But recommend a bag clip or something for storing, which is not what I did, and just ended up dumping the white beads out a good 20 times.

Purchased these poly beads to help bulk up a beanbag chair. Turns out they were much smaller than what we were looking for. I tried to be careful and order the correct size, but ooops, oh well. The bean bag chair was given to a friend, but we also wanted to supply more poly beads. The bean bag chair went off to college, not sure how it worked out. In the past I was able to purchase locally a bag (size of a queen pillow) of poly beadshowever, had to go to Amazon and spent more for smaller size and much smaller size bag. I guess its my fault for wrong size, but it was the closest I could find online to fit our needs.

Purchased for a resident's Art's & Craft's project...... this stuff IS fantastic!! A little goes a long way, making the thought that I needed to purchase as much as I did a bit foolish (on my part). I have plenty to last many future projects now with the residents & projects. Thank you for an awesome product.
