Forearm Forklift 2-Person Lifting and Moving Straps
These straps are a lifesaver! We used them to move a heavy couch and a large dresser, and it made the job so much easier. They take the strain off your back and give you way more control when carrying bulky items. The straps are strong, well-made, and easy to adjust. Definitely worth it if you’re moving heavy furniture—highly recommend!

A great way to move something heavy IF you're careful
When lifting something heavy and awkward like a washer/dryer or couch, two of the main limitations are grip strength and ergonomics. You have to lean WAY over to get your hands under the edge of the thing. Once you lift it, the small muscles of your hands and forearms can become the limiting factor as they fatigue. Then it's time to find a place to put whatever you're carrying down-- and in a hurry-- before gravity makes the decision for you. These straps do a couple of things. First, they redistribute the load to your upper forearm, removing grip strength as a limitation. Second, they increase leverage by applying the force further up your arms (IE closer to your shoulders). Less torque is applied to the shoulder, which means your delts and the other smallish muscles of your shoulders don't have to work as hard. Third, they improve ergonomics in many cases (such as carrying a couch or love seat) by allowing you to walk more upright, imparting less torque on the lower back. Fourth, they allow you to use your hands almost exclusively to stabilize the object, which gives better overall control. What you're really doing with these is taking a lot of small muscles out of the picture, allowing some of the larger leg and back muscles to do the work. This is a double-edged sword, because it allows you to lift things that are heavier than you normally would. If your back, shoulders, and arms can handle it, no problem. However, if they can't... This happened to me. A family member and I tried to lift a pull-out couch with a steel bed frame built into it. This thing was pretty heavy, I'd guess in the 300+ lb. range, and awkward. We lifted it, but after walking a few feet with it we realized that we were setting ourselves up for an injury. Heavy objects still have lots of inertia, so while you might be able to lift and walk with something like a heavy couch, you have much less safety margin if it wobbles, if someone slips, etc. In our case, we had to walk down a few steps with this couch, and there's no way the person in the lead would have been able to control the weight once it shifted toward them. We realized this and switched to furniture dollies before anyone got hurt. This is where you have to be careful. Lift something that's too heavy and you'll be in deep trouble if the weight shifts or if you stumble. Also, you might be able to lift something with a high center of gravity (like an upright refrigerator) but you won't be able to control it if it begins to tip. Finally, you'll be limited by the strength of the weaker person doing the lifting. If one person is significantly stronger than the other, you need to be aware of it and accommodate the difference. This is an excellent tool if you keep a comfortable safety margin between both lifters' physical limitations and the amount of weight to move. It's really valuable for keeping fatigue to a minimum while lifting moderately heavy loads. However, you have to be careful not to get in over your head. If it feels too heavy even with these straps, there's a good chance that it is.

Didn't work for me.
Didn't work for me. I am short and weak; he is tall and strong. I was not able to really move anything substantial. Back they go. Looks good on the videos but I couldn't reproduce the results.

Moving Made Easy – A Game-Changer for Heavy Lifting!
The Forearm Forklift 2-Person Lifting and Moving Straps have been a lifesaver during our recent move. If you have heavy furniture or appliances to move, these straps are a must-have. Here’s why they impressed me: Reduces Strain and Makes Lifting Safer: The design of these straps is brilliant. By utilizing your forearms and proper lifting techniques, the straps distribute weight evenly and significantly reduce strain on your back and shoulders. My friend and I were able to move large pieces of furniture like couches, dressers, and even a heavy refrigerator without feeling like we were risking an injury. Easy to Use and Adjust: The straps are incredibly easy to use. Simply adjust them to your desired length, slide them under the object you want to move, and lift. The adjustable length makes them versatile enough to handle objects of varying sizes, from small tables to large, heavy furniture pieces. Increases Stability and Control: One of the standout features is how much control these straps provide. The straps create a solid connection between the two lifters, allowing us to move items with stability and precision. We were able to navigate tight spaces, stairs, and doorways with ease, which would have been nearly impossible without them. Durable and High-Quality Materials: The straps are made from high-quality, heavy-duty nylon that feels sturdy and reliable. Even after multiple uses, there is no fraying or loss of strength. I have full confidence that these straps will last for many more moves to come. Compact and Easy to Store: Unlike bulky moving equipment, these straps are compact and easy to store. They don’t take up much space, which is a big plus for anyone who doesn’t have room for a dolly or other large moving tools. Saves Time and Effort: Using the Forearm Forklift Straps saved us a significant amount of time and effort compared to traditional methods of moving. We were able to carry and load our moving truck much faster, which made the entire process smoother and less stressful. Conclusion: If you’re planning a move or just need to rearrange heavy furniture at home, the Forearm Forklift 2-Person Lifting and Moving Straps are worth every penny. They make lifting safer, easier, and more efficient. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to make moving day a breeze!

Just like another reviewer I had to order this twice because the first one I received from the seller hlandert-au was a cheap knock off. After returning the knock off and ordering again - this time choosing to order from Amazon US at greater cost - I got the genuine item. The genuine straps are good quality and work well. There is nice soft padding in the loops (where the knock off just used black webbing) and the strap used is nice and wide at 3" (unlike the knock off which was under 2"). The strapping also uses a nice sturdy weave, definitely much better in every way than the knock off versions and worth the extra. They work well. One thing to be mindful of though is that the instructions warn against exposing them to UV or high temperatures else the straps will weaken. If you live somewhere hot like us in northern Queensland, you don't want to go leaving them in the back of a ute or inside a vehicle. They need to be stored somewhere air conditioned and out of the sun.

I purchased these straps to move a 225 pounds linen cabinet from the main floor to the first floor (14 steps) and it made the job very easy. It makes moving large and/or heavy furniture very easy. I recommend this product.

Really unimpressed with this. Two bands of nylon in a small roll. Don't waste your money.
