SAVE time and Set it all in the Neutral position
Perfect replacement part for my 2016 Traverse. This actuator comes in a neutral position, meaning it's blowing air towards the face and feet. IF your control panel is working just fine AND you do want to save yourself some time having to perform a "re-learn" of the HVAC system. Try setting your control panel to an all-neural position (meaning it is centered between hot and cold and pointing right at feet and face in logos on the HVAC control panel BEFORE you disconnect the battery. If you still reading, please note: 2013 to 2017 Chevy Traverse has TWO (2) actuators in the rear (one for feet/face and one for hot/cold) ... Now ask yourself, WHY would you go through all that trouble to replace just the ONE?
