RVRC GP Pro Trousers may look like a pair of mens hiking trousers or trekking trousers but are really multifunctional outdoor mens trousers in disguise. Crafted from robust Hypershell material, these hiking trousers mens are reinforced in exposed areas and have a triple reinforced inseam to prevent tearing. Strategically placed stretch panels in the crotch and on the inside of the thighs help prevent chafing and give the pants a great fit. Naturally, all the materials used in our RVRC GP Pro Trousers are free from harmful PFCs. RVRC GP Pro Trousers are lightly wind repellent and water repellent; treat them with our high-quality heat wax to prepare them for heavier showers. Two open knee pockets make the mens trousers compatible with knee pads for climbing and other taxing outdoor activities. Five other pockets provide practical storage and free up your hands when you’re out and about. The front belt loops are longer than normal to accommodate carabiners and the outside of the thighs sport generously sized ventilation zippers to keep you comfortable even when you’re working hard. The leg closings feature practical boot hooks and are adjustable with buttons to keep out debris. Tougher than a pair of softshell trousers and more lightweight hiking trousers than a pair of winter trousers, RVRC GP Pro Trousers are the functional trousers for men that can be used all year round. Enjoy them for hiking, fishing, walking, camping, climbing, hunting, dog sport and many other all-round outdoor activities.

Very nice trousers
Appear to be very well made. Material on the fronts is very heavy duty. The backs are very thin and lightweight. Very slim fitting legs, not sure they will be everyone's cup of tea.

Good first impression
RevolutionRace have a loyal following amongst outdoorsy types and I'd heard that their hiking trousers were highly regarded. I opted for rusty orange size L. The colour is more rusty brown than orange - the actual shade is a little darker than it appears on the photos on Amazon - but that's a minor quibble. The fabric feels nice and the fit is comfortable, they are a little long in the leg for me but that's not too much of an issue. Overall, first impressions are good: they look good and feel good. Time will tell as to how they last but this brand is known for the durability of their hiking trousers. I had been tracking the price of these trousers on Amazon and placed an order when they were dropped by £33 from their usual price, always worth watching for price shifts on products.

Comfortable fit. Deep pockets. Quality.
I’m 5’10”, with a 30/32 waist and a SMALL size fits well. Colour matches the images. Plenty zipped pockets, fine and deep back pocket for your phone. If you have to stretch your legs on a hike, the breeks stretch with you. All good from me.

Well made but...
Paid the premium price for these and really looked forward to getting them. I havee to say though I am disappointed with how tight the bottom of the legs are even on the widest opening, its like wearing those old skool trackies with elastic bottoms. The bottom of the legs are also not really made for people with large calves. Another issue I found is that fluff seems to be attracted to them a lot. The material feels more for industrial use like dickies. All the negatives aside, the quality of maufacture, number of pockets and design from the knee up is spot on.A real shame as I bought them for walking but have gone back to my craghoppers for comfort.

Nervous at first , but more than I expected
I'm used to Montane Terra or Mission pants (having used for mountaineering and search and rescue activities in the past) but saw these in some social media videos (not adverts) and looked at for a little while before ordering. I was hesitant at first; as they were unknown to me and quite a high price considering.BUT having received these I'm very very impressed. The fit beautifully, they don't hang, rub, or move when bending / kneeling (like old 95 combat trouses do - for those that remember). They are a harder material that I'm used to from mountain trousers but for me I'm actually really glad, as it seams that these have multiple use and I'm not going to panic about ripping holes when crossing the unmaintained style or fence.I'm already looking at trying a jacket, AGAIN I'm normally very particular about these too as from past experience I've had to use only the best as life really did rely on them... So will let you know
