these definately taste a bit fishy (crustation's?) But they also seem a bit more potent, than the Swanson (I'm a huge swanson fan, at least my deceased wife was)..that is the swelling in my right side throat goes down when I consume Iodine, NOT Iodide. Watch for cheap salt, Morton has iodine, others, not likely. PEACE GRD

I have been taking this in combination with Mary Ruth's morning daily liquid multivitamin with hair growth support plus Her and Health's perimenopause support supplement for the last 2 months. I had been experiencing a sudden increase in hair shedding that was actually quite alarming. For a while I had also been struggling with my mood a long with fatigue associated with my menstrual cycle. I don't know if one thing has necessarily helped more than the other but I do not plan on stopping this combination anytime soon. Hair shedding is much less than what was my normal was even before the sudden increase a couple months ago. My cycle experienced a shift in my cycle about 6 years ago in regards to length and regularity and also started noticing an increase in the associated symptoms of fatigue and mood in the last couple of weeks of my cycle. I think it's good to give a supplement regiment a solid 30-90 days is a good idea to see if it is effective. I definitely saw changes in the first 30 and even more heading to the 60 day mark. This is helping me feel better in ways that are making me want to make other health changes such as to my diet and feeling like my energy levels are better to be able to consistently exercise.

Provides 230 micrograms of iodine sourced from nature (kelp). This is a dietary supplement. Humans need about 100 mcg, but should not consume more than 1,000 mcg a day. This is not a substitute for potassium iodide, which is used to saturate your body with iodine, so you can more likely survive a nuclear attack with radioactive iodine.

I like this brand. The kelp is a decent quality, but it's not my first choice. It sells for more here on Amazon than on other sites. But take into consideration shipping costs. Icelandic is my preferred go to. More product at a lower price. But Icelandic wasn't available at the time, so. If getting supplements from other sites that carry this, I prefer the lower price.

Seven years ago I learned I had high blood pressure. I then stopped adding salt to food. I've also been a vegan 4 years. Although I eat every little pre-processed food, I wrongly assumed I would be getting enough iodine from it. The last few years I have been exhausted. Until then I didn't realize how important iodine is to a person's health. It is critical! I bought this iodine because it has excellent reviews, both on and off Amazon. It comes in small tablets. I started feeling improvement within 1-2 days of taking this product. I was expecting 30 days before I felt improvement. I've now been taking it 5 days. Every day I feel better. Most of the tingling has gone away and my energy is coming back. For some reason is you want to cut these tablets in half, you can do that with a pill splitter. They don't shatter or crumble. They taste like sea kelp, which is what they are. I have been chewing them without water, but you can easily swallow them with a liquid. They seem high quality. The bottles has 500 tablets in it.

I bought this supplement for my mother, who was lacking this vitamin. She started using it, and it's been the best thing for her well-being and health. It's easy to swallow, and the benefits are incredible. It's worked very well for her. I'm already planning to place another order so she doesn't run out of the bottle.
