Four solid pieces ... ideal to quieten an outside a/c compressor unit! I bought two sets for my upstairs and downstairs units.They do a great job and will support a lot of weight. They also raise the units up off the cement pads, so you can hose all the dirt and gunk away from the undersides. This will help prevent rusting-out due to dirt, wet leaves, etc.It's astounding that people are posting negative reviews elsewhere of other similar products, because of the smell! These are heavy-duty rubber pads, so .... they stink of rubber! If you are planning to use them inside, simply leave them outside for a few days, to air them and help dissipate the smell.

I put them under my AC compressor prior to install, and it totally eliminated the vibration noise inherent in my old unit that would keep me awake at night. I'm sure it would increase the service life of my old unit, for the metal casing no longer is contacting the concrete slab,resulting in less prolonged exposure to moisture underneath the unit.

Awesome, "juicy" RUGGED rubber isolation pads. Made a HUGE difference on my 60 gal air compressor. The "strong rubber smell" absolutely goes away after 2-3 weeks, and is never even bad to begin with, Are people huffing these things??? The reviewers that are complaining abut the smell MUST also complain about the smell of new tires, a new garden hose, etc. Yeah, it smells like rubber. Imagine that. My previous set smelled like a delicious Thanksgiving dinner and I ended up eating them and had to buy these.

Just received, so durability is not being rated. I purchased this to lay in the bed of a cargo carrier on the back of my 5th wheel RV (manufacturer actually welds a cargo carrier/receiver hitch attachment point - you still have to order a hitch. This is a Vanleigh Vilano 370GB). I am carrying a generator on carrier and wanted something which would isolate the generator from the carrier to reduce noise and vibration. My carrier is 60"x28"x6" and these isolators are 2"x2"x3/4". The generator is 26"x23" and should fit snugly in the carrier. These I will break down to 4" wide strips across the width of the mounting points of the generator.My generator is an 8750W and weighs 183 pounds.

Our air conditioning unit was very loud. We had a technician check it and he said it needed leveled and he could do it for $200. I ordered these and we installed them within minutes. It was quieter immediately. Highly recommend.
