Works well and is easy to install (if using a pier base for the light).
My new home has a post box on the street. The box is enclosed in a sturdy brick structure that, unfortunately, has no electricity run to it. I wanted some light on it for both safety (cars not hitting it) and to see the mail if checking it after dark. At this time I didn't want the expense of hiring an electrician to run power out the the post box, so thought solar was the way to go. I purchased the Kemeco post-light as it appeared to have generally good reviews, and it fit our outdoor decor. The light arrived and was simple to prepare for installation. Really just install the batteries and attach it to the post or mail box you want it on. You do need to provide your own base though so have one ready. I attached the pier base to my post box enclosure, then easily attached the lamp to the base. I didn't spend more than 30 minutes installing everything (and I am not a pro-handyman by any means). Do not turn on the light until it gets at least 24 hours of sunlight to fully charge the batteries!I let the charging go a full 48 hours as we had quite a bit of overcast and rain. But when I turned it on the first time I was pleased by the amount of light it cast. While I do wish it was more powerful, the light did do what I wanted. So far, the light has worked without a problem for 3 months now in all kinds of weather and cold. Aside from the amount /power of light it casts, I have no real complaints. The light is smaller than I would have liked (no fault of Kemeco - I should have gauged scale better), but does look nice. My only real complaint is with the design of the solar panel for charging. It is completely flat and has a lip surrounding it. The lip traps water and dirt which will, over time, reduce the effectiveness of the panel.

Great product for the money
We had a light post at the end of our short driveway, but had issues with the sensor and had to disconnect the wiring as we didn't want to dig up our lawn to rewire. I found this and the base was the diameter of our post, so I ordered it. It was an incredibly easy install, and after letting it prime for a week (I forgot to turn it on, oops) it did its job. It looks great, and is worth the money.

Works as needed
Put this on a lamp post by the sidewalk/driveway. Gives off a decent amount of light but does not stay on a long period of time. On a super sunny day it lasts about 4 hrs on a decent brightness.Serves the purpose as needed.

Nice addition to front yard
We had an OLD wired light in the front yard that was one ugly, going to be expensive to replace and of questionable aesthetics. Then it occurred to me that maybe there was a solar variation that would work. I got a cheap one at Home Depot, that was nice just too small and then found this on Amazon and gave it a try. It is well built mostly metal and surprisingly bright AND it fit perfectly on the pole out front.Problem solved. Now let's see how long it lasts. Has an easy to access "water proofed" switch and is surprisingly bright.

Get what you pay for.
Get what you pay for, it looks good but the battery life does not last anywhere close to what was stated. It’s very very dim after only a few hours. It was pretty cheap so not sure what I was expecting. It’s ok for the money I guess, just wish I spent more for a nicer one or went with a wired option. Will probably replace eventually
