Boye 3227350007M Circular Knitting Needles, 29"

These are the first circular needles that I purchased. I have always used the Boye crochet hooks, so I thought these would be a good choice. I was disappointed as soon as I took them out of the package. The cord would not untwist on its own. I straightened them in my hands, and with the slightest of tugs, the plastic cord came out of one of the needles. I used a drop of superglue to put it back in place. It now has a burr on the join from the glue. I have tried filing it off and for the most part is gone, but yarn is unforgiving and will still catch on it.I am writing off these needles as a loss. I ordered a different brand and moved on.
