I like the quick release and hook and loop attachment.

I'm restoring a car and this board sander has been an absolute necessity. I use it with stick-on paper.A couple of things I love about it are that it's cushioned on the bottom which helps the paper last longer & not clog so much and I am able to hold the sander in the middle when I need to (those holes are great grips for your fingers). This makes a big difference because sometimes you just can't use 2 hands.If this ever craps out, I'll buy another.

The advertisement made you think they give you sand paper with this product. It comes with no paper

When you buy a longboard sander you'd expect it to be flat....but that's not what I got. The injection molded handle had warped, and the plate was bowed. Holding one end down I measured about 3/16" gap at the other end. I "fixed" it by using a belt sander, but that should not have been required on this "Pro" unit.Other than that I liked the options of PSA, clip or hook and loop use.I keep coming back to buy the excellent Dura Gold abrasives, but I can't recommend this sanding block.

Auto body work, fragile, clamp would bend and slide off

It's a great sanding board but the clips to hold the sandpaper aren't very good, they fall out of the clips when in the open position but the velcro is great and the pad that comes with it to stick paper on it is alright..
