Knit Picks Dishie Cone Worsted Weight 100% Cotton Yarn - 400 g (Black)

Worked up it is soft and easy to work with using a G hook. I’m making crochet placemats withcrochet flowers added to a corner.First time I’ve used yarn off a cone. I really like it.

The size is good .

This is by far the softest 100% cotton yarn I've found that's suitable for washcloths, dishcloths, towels and bags. This yarn is more expensive than some. But when you put your time and effort into knitting or crocheting an item, you want it to be nice! Knit Picks Dishie holds up so well and there are so many colors to choose from. (And I figure, anyone can use another dishcloth, so it's an easy, handmade gift!)

If you wish to have a goodly supply of this wonderful cotton yarn, this is definitely the way to buy it! This is much more cost effective than buying it by the skein -- and I don't find any knots on the cone, unlike the skeins in the craft stores.

Great yarn! I crocheted two dishcloths so far using this yarn and absolutely love it! Has not split and comes in such vibrant colors. Wish retail stores carried this yarn.The only thing is the huge price difference of ordering from Amazon vs ordering from Knitpicks website. The cones are 6$ cheaper ordering from Knitpicks. I don’t know how prices are set with the vendors and Amazon, but do your homework before you order yarn. Amazon will get it to you faster, so weigh the difference. Only reason for four stars is the price.

Great color and easier on my hands than Lily sugar n’ cream worsted cotton. The yarn strand is woven tighter than Lily so the diameter is slightly smaller but it doesn’t bother me. And my hands thank me. I will purchase again.
