Small beautiful gift idea
This little tea pot came beautifully wrapped in it’s own silk case. The detail work on it is incredible and much nicer than pictured on their Amazon page. It comes with an explanation of the history of the art form and another sheet pictured that I wish I could read. It is very small, perfect for one cup of tea. I will use it to keep my second cup warm while I finish my first cup. This would make an incredible gift.

very small; more of a novelty item; way overpriced
I ordered this tea pot for my wife who likes to drink tea and also collects tea pots. This tea pot is very pretty but extremely tiny, much smaller than I imagined. For some reason I expected it to be cast iron for its price, but this is a very lightweight, ceramic tea pot. It must be pretty sturdy because the box the manufacturer packaged it in had no actual protection and was literally crumpled and torn in shipping. The tea pot itself is quite elegant looking, and the hand painting on it is pretty. It comes in a cute, attractive, fabric bag with a drawstring. The tea pot is so small that it is more of a novelty than functional. At best, it probably holds about 8 ounces of tea. It does not come with a diffuser, so you either have to buy one separately or use a tea bag if you intend to use it to brew tea.Pricewise, this tea pot is way overpriced. It's cute and makes for a nice gift to someone who collects tea pots, but it is not particularly useful for brewing and serving tea.
